  • this trac called Weiss and Deviller

  • Make it real it would make a kick ass film

  • Hell, I'll get the first Augmentated Penis!

    It will fire Lazars.

  • This is awsome. if only it was a movie. Its such a good idea. This game should be realy popular, and somebody should have already made a movie of it. Seriously.

  • That is so good movie material

  • Extreamly biased video. Human augmentation is the future.

  • The thing thats scary is that this is fiction now, but it could easily and probably will turn into reality. And the even scarier part of it is that their is no clear "right" answer. There will be chaos that much is clear. What the outcome will be or what humanity will look like when the dust settles is not.

  • Religion slows progress.

  • dues ex, halo, crysis, and assassins creed all deserve movies.

  • wats the song?

  • Say what you will, this trailer should have won the best trailer award...

The trailer not only promotes the game, but raises the ultimate question about misuse of technology, corporate greed, and corruption..

  • They must make a movie of this !!!

  • Why is this not a movie? WELL?! Hollywood, make it so... WE DEMAND IT!!!!

  • I think this drug they have to take is just shoe horned in so there's a "gray area". And I think some would protest something like this. The same idiots that protest abortion and the people at occupy wall street.

  • So badass I can't even take it. I must go and play Deus Ex right now.

  • I would so see that movie

  • Movie for PC, PS3 and XBOX360? LoL

  • Caught a discrepancy. At 0:26 the man's right arm is the augmented one while his left is his biological human arm. But at 0:30, the arms have switched.

Wow, these augmented eyes really do work.

  • This Trailer Has been nominated for the Spike Video Game Awards for the Trailer of the Year. the Winner is chosen by the voters so go to spick.com and vote for it before Dec 10. Thumbs up so other peole can see

  • I think this is how the new knights Templar formed in the deus ex IW world....

  • Watch movie 'Repoman' ....

  • THIS IS FUTURE AFTER 10 YEARS OF INCREDIBLE WORLD PROGRE$

  • humanity is built on violence. we advance, create technology to be more powerful than our opponent. i rather be augmented and be like the ending in the original deus ex, everybody is linked and come to consensus, rather than remain individuals and keep our "uncivilized" old fashion ways.

  • @JinNakamuraDante

The original? That was Invisible War where everyone can get linked.

  • Deus ex: human revolution can be downloaded free from megafire.org\?qhAlVG ¸

  • somebody knows the song?

  • (((d(---__---)b))) great potential for a motion picture

  • holy shit... I'm just blown away by this trailer. Anyone else get the fine line between reality and the ideology behind this trailer?

  • @Utsha7s3v3n7 Me too. I swear to God, if I didn't know this was a game I would have freaked the fuck out. It kind of reminds me of that whole Orson Welles War of the Worlds thing that happened a couple of decades ago... If people just saw this, without realizing it was an ad for a game... mass hysteria.

  • @Utsha7s3v3n7 I did..I need to buy this game.

  • i'd be on the sarif side. fuck those hippies =D haha

  • @BlutRoyalElite Hell yeah!

  • hum... a game about transhumanism! cool :)

  • is this for rizzles? cuzz I WANT TO SEE THIS

  • @xxxxNexxusxxxx It is a trailer for the game Deus Ex Human Revolution. They should make a game and have it end right before the ed so you know the movie ended like you chose the game to.

  • i want if i can record movie with my eyes ... so i can record movie at cinema without get caught !

  • comex ;p

  • i want that thing now!

  • BLOOPER: the football playing guy switches from right arm augmented to left arm augmented and back.

  • OMG pleASE turn this into a real movie not just a game!!!

  • @toosexxy01, nah, this one cannot be made into a movie. its not possible in any way or form under developement or currently existing.

  • @toosexxy01 thats gonna be hard

should they make it take place during a game or after or before?

  • @that1dude0092 i would prefer they would make a deus ex trilogy movie, starting from DXHR, DXIV, and then DX being the last.. ^^.

  • @0902studios

Nah i think the movie should take place between

    say for like

taking place between DXHR and DX

  • @that1dude0092 well yeah that could be a good idea ^^

  • @toosexxy01 Ever seen Ghost in the Shell? There's a well known start.

  • @toosexxy01 forget the movie. turn it inot reality!

  • @toosexxy01

The moovie can be just another justin beeeber popcorn shit.

And the game is a game - its world behind your PC.

    Nowdays moovies are sux mainly.

I hope that will be like star wars - classical fiction, i mean, not another transformers that are just stupid.

  • @toosexxy01 heres the story square enix made a movie before and messed up so they stopped making movies.

  • @toosexxy01 It will be.

  • Fuck, I'm totally gettings this.

  • comex send me

  • what is this? a movie trailer or a game?

  • @makarena2010 Both!

  • comex rules

  • That's actually the best teaser I've seen in a while!

  • Sarif = Seariph, the "burning ones", warrior angels. Fodder for God. Such a good reference.

  • cute video :3

  • Weird title, "Deus Ex". It means "A god from the" in Latin. They forgot the "Machina" part.

  • @Raccoonwithapen yea actualy it is Deux ex machina

  • @Raccoonwithapen No. The phrase "Deus Ex" can be used with anything."Deus Ex Human Revolution" means God From the Human Revolution. It makes perfect sense.

  • @alans056 Exactly Deus Ex has a closer meaning of God of Machines or machine god

  • @alans056 No, it would actually be A God from the: Human Revolution. Which still makes no sense.

  • @Raccoonwithapen dude of course it makes sense, read it again. augmentations make human beings (in the game) "more than human" = gods. It's what the game is all about! Have you played it?...

  • @alans056 I have. All three. I liked the original "Deus Ex" the best, even though it had sucky graphics and it was incredibly long. It had an intense, deep storyline that very few games could rival, even when it did have a Deus ex Machina actually in the plot.

I read it again. The words didn't rearrange themselves into something that made sense with the punctuation that is given.

  • I would accept augmentations, but only after they can run on Chrome OS.

  • Fuck off Purity... I wanna punch through walls!

  • Lmao at the water pistols @2:45. xD

  • It's comforting to know that, sixteen years from now, the Impact font will still be going strong.

  • i want to augment my eye

  • the game has an amazing setting, graphical theme, and music and its not even out?

  • Anybody getting a 'Dark Knight' vibe from the music at the beginning. Nice nod. :)

  • I'd like to augment myself like some of these things but not sure if its worth that cost.

  • it seems so real

  • Either this or genetic tampering.

I wonder, which is most compatible with capitalism?

  • ok the website they advise you to see is totally awesome, that is a some great advertising for a game.

  • lol it played a deus ex ad before i could watch my deus ex trailer? they hacked youtube!

  • this should be a movie

  • Augment your pussy!

  • Anon is still around 16 years from now.... So what's the point of even trying to attack them.

  • do they really exist?

  • @Mrdiablo828 maybe

  • its funny as this is exactly what will happen in the future

  • so basically the dues ex game is like a form of protest

  • I'd get my "junk" augmented, go into porn, and my porn name would be inspector gadget. GO GO GADGET PENIS

  • @PhillyTilly2005, i'd be "I. Ron Giant"

  • @PhillyTilly2005 LOL and then sarif turns it off in the middle of doing it and then it becomes limp...

  • @PhillyTilly2005 I crown you the king of youtube comments !

  • This could be one intense a** movie!

  • "morally and ethically wrong"? bullshit, what i do with my limbs or eyes or organs, etc is my own business. if i wanted to i could throw my body away for no good reason, who is anyone to try and stop me?

  • @osirinubis They're not referring to people getting augmented being wrong, it's the people providing the augmentations that they're referring to.

  • Comment removed

  • Too much epic in this video

Although do you notice that the guy at the start throwing the football's augmented arm changes from left to right between takes?

  • @grimfandango2006

but he always throws with augmented arm ;) it's switched picture

DEUS EX ... words cannot describe the feeling when someone mentions it.

  • I just put my contacts in.

    I'm augmented!

  • i for one think augmenting yourself to make yourself stronger, live longer, and feel better is a good idea. the only issue is that this video shows one thing that is true, corporations are only interested in how they can control you and earn the most profit. if you disagre with them in any way, they will make sure you never actualy stand up agianst them. if you dont make them money, your useless and tossed aside. the problem is money and corporations, not augmentations.

  • The point isn't that augmentation by implant is an absolute wrong. The video underlines how in our current system (and thus the near future) this tech. advance, like every other advances, will be used to control us and make money off of us. This isn't complicated. What's happening in the Middle East right this moment is very instructive : robotics used for remote-killing, online social networks used for informing on activists, medical expertise used in support of torture, etc.

  • No one actually said they HAD to be augmented, stupid humAns

  • It might be interesting to you guys that there are already 'human augmentations' out there. Neural implants are emerging and there's already a cybernetic MIND CONTROLLED robotic arm that can FEEL and mimic 25 out of the 27 or so (forgot) human arm movements. This is 2011. By 2027, this shit gon' be real.

  • Wait u can't play this with the ps3 move crap

  • I would augument my dick so I'll have a 12 inch vibrating cock in silver.

  • Comment removed

  • DONT FOOL YOURSELF PEOPLE. THIS IS WHY THE LONDON RIOTS ARE HAPPENING.

  • And what's the song?

  • does this really exist?

  • Sarif = Apple

  • @amIlivinginabox I didn't know Apple sells implants to replace your perfectly fine limbs! Where can I get them?

  • @amIlivinginabox Skynet = Google

  • @ekoglen I dont get it

    why? explain please

  • @PSP600HAX1 Because google got the information about everything...

  • @ekoglen uhm i see what you mean

still it not really as witty as the sarif=apple comment

  • @PSP600HAX1 Skynet = Google have been used by alot of people since Terminator 2-3 came out...

  • @ekoglen erhm i dont really get it why is so funny

It doesn't fit, it doesn't make perfect sense

  • @ekoglen the future in this game isn't that far from reality, human augmentation is increasing in technological advances very rapidly, and i woudn't be surprised about corporations being more powerful than governments, google, apple, microsoft, just to name a few

  • @amIlivinginabox no, Sarif=Bill Gates

  • It's funny cause we all know this is gonna be better on xbox than on ps3 cause ps3 sucks :)

  • @CCCCDDWmogxet No, the game is going to be exactly the same on each system, as the developers won't spend the time and money to re-code the game to perfectly suit each system.

  • @CCCCDDWmogxet It's funny cause I already played it on PC and it's already better than on your restrictive console. Stick aiming is for SMG noobs.

  • Daaamn I wanna know what is the music on the background ! (

    Pre-ordered the game.

  • @Zemskiss

    /watch?v=0GIBIuLBCbo

  • I'd get a robot dick first thing.

  • whats weird is were heading in this direction and much more.

  • This isn't about augmentation being bad thing. It's about power abuse of greedy corporations. OF COURSE they couldn't possibly get away with treachery of this magnitude in real world. OF COURSE there will be materials that won't be rejected by body.

Purists can shut it and stick to their own rights.

  • They cannot stop the future. H+

  • you can find the song here: watch?v=0GIBIuLBCbo

    enjoy :D

  • Damn what happens if you get an Augmented Penis and you dont take the Drugs, does it like stop getting a hard on?

  • @NinjaMuzz It will fall off

  • @MegaKEK

    No, I think you'll die.

"If you don't take their drugs, you're gone!"

  • Я бы хотел, чтобы создатели компьютерных игр двигали человечество к прогрессу и апокалипсису.

  • 1:07 - 1:14

Wait, decades? That would mean since 2007 at least. Is Deus Ex going to do a divergent history like the Fallout universe?

  • @Puglous I think he is also referring to prosthetic limbs which have been used throughout history.

  • @Puglous deus ex has more advanced technology in its timeline.

  • @MintyHippo30

Yeah, I just read the timeline on Deus Wikia. But why the hell are they doing this? They say the first functioning cyborg was created in 2001 in the Deus Ex timeline, when in reality he was created 2005 (look up Jesse Sullivan), but other than the two stories are identical. Why not just go with a realistic timeline, and maybe just have all the events take place 4 years later, with the game taking place in 2031 instead of 2027? Divergent timelines are a big blow to immersion

  • @Puglous Your argument of the timeline is completely stupid. How can a number change your immersion? It's the developers decision to create a divergent timeline for their own turn on the plot. They also use a lot of instances to allow placement for the Illuminati which are big in deus ex. Not to mention the earlier advances to technology. Obviously they are using this time for a specific reason since the game IS a prologue.

  • @MintyHippo30

No, what's completely stupid is that you think a game based on secrets and conspiracies needs to alter apparent, visible aspects of reality to fit in plot events. You don't need to "make room" for the Illuminati, because they work in secret.

And if a number can't change immersion, then why the hell does any game chose to set itself in the future? So that it's story won't contradict what already has and hasn't happend, obviously! They didn't set Crysis in 2009 for a reason

  • @Puglous

*change 2009 to 2005, but its essentially the same point.

  • @Puglous The year 2027 would not be any different than 2031 to anyone other than the developers who have decided to have this follow their canonical storyline. This is like trying to criticize Fallout for changing events to cause a nuclear war that would allow for the plot of the first game. The fact is the immersion does not come from a timeline. It does not come from a god damn number. The immersion comes from the characters, the art, the conflicts, the setting, and the story.

  • @MintyHippo30

Story yes, and part of a good story is being believable. When it contradicts reality, as they must by creating a divergent timeline, it becomes less believable. This is why science-fiction games almost always set themselves in the future, so the player won't say "Wait, that wasn’t invented yet!" And yes, I do dislike the divergent timeline in Fallout. I love the games, but not that aspect of them. The wasteland would be much more haunting if it happened in OUR future.

  • Comment removed

  • @Puglous See this is exactly my point. If the events that occurred in Fallout happened in our future than it wouldn't be fallout. The point is this is a game. A plot can be believable IN THE GAME. It doesn't have to fit reality to be an immersive. The setting, the characters, and the experience should be able to do that for you.

  • @MintyHippo30

Immersiveness isn't a binary concept. I didn't say it would destroy the immersiveness, only hurt it. If it fits with reality its MORE immersive, otherwise why wouldn't every game use the wiggle room an alternate reality provides?

Besides, how would Deus Ex not be Deus Ex if it fit with reality? This is the first DX game to contradict real-life history.

  • @Puglous See time is so arbitrary to a story. It can change basis on whatever the author wants. If there wasn't the number 2027. If a year wasn't stated even. How would the game be more immersive? It is just a number.

  • @MintyHippo30 yes, but those who played the first Deus Ex, understand what anyone means with Immesive when aplied to Deus Ex. The thing , is, the Deus Ex story, mixes several more or less known conspiracy theories, several real groups or lobbies that still exist, or existed at some point in history, to deliever a believable plot, in a believable near future, that actually made you think, because it was all very believable and possible to hapend in a near future as the story told.

  • In fact, some of the things the first Deus Ex predicted, are hapening. The outbreaks of global menacing deseases, with the cure or treatment being treated like a profit maker available only to some, the hightened security by goverment forces limiting our freedom, to "protect us" from terrorist attacks and organizations, International Corporations with an agenda that become more powerful than goverments. All while most of the society is oblivious to it all.

  • I would get myself augmented the second I got the opportunity.

    Purity First can suck it.

  • @TheEclipse9990 They can suck and blow it. H+ forever!

  • @TheEclipse9990 FUCK YHEA!

  • @TheEclipse9990 to be honest, first publicly augmentations will probably be buggy and everything. I'd wait few years after they have been released. The more advanced the better, right ?

  • @arvuti12 I'd wait for Service Pack 1 too.

  • @TheEclipse9990 transhumanist faggot

  • @defragen1 Lol is that supposed to be an insult?

  • Chills down my spine...

  • THEY ARE KILLING OUR HUMANITY!

Ugh, that one line makes me cringe every time.

  • @wootslap

Wow, now I finally understand what he's saying. I thought he was saying "They'll kill your baby!"

  • @wootslap, it was a nice idea, the wording just was....... blergh.. but yeah, makes perfect sense if you take the whole context in consideration.

  • They really put effort to marketing. Loved the Seraph Industries site too. Preordered again after seeing the site lol, had cancelled earlier.

  • @Okiwenus Sarif* :P and MAN I FREAKING LOVED THE SITE :3

  • @lolag3r3r lol, I should be shamed to make such error. Thanks for correcting it :)

  • @Okiwenus don't worry :3 I also thought it was Seraph (ahem, Eliza, the Picus News girl pronounced it as Seraph xD)

  • Looks like the storyline and atmosphere of Human Revolution can easily keep up with the original Deus Ex :)

Damn, I'm so looking forward to this game <3

    Regards, aequitaS

  • I never asked for this.

  • I wish this was real life

  • @UndeadKIRA You'd be on the street begging for drugs.

  • FUCK THE SISTEM!!

  • @gnaggu YEAH MAN, WHO NEEDS TO SPELL PROPERLY, ANYWAY?

  • @c4mpincarl FUCK THE SPELLING :P

  • soundtrack is from batman dark knight

  • I would just love to watch this in a theater before watching a movie and look at everyone's reactions to it.
