It's true that there aren't shoulder pads and stuff but cheerleading goes from June until March or longer where football, volleyball, basketball any kind of sport like that only goes for maybe like two, maybe three months I think? So yeah, you're likely to see more cheerleaders than other ones. Still is more dangerous.

Cheerleading is a sport and it is also dangerous it might even be more dangerous than football! My cheerleading coach had us and our parents sign form about the risks of cheerleading like broken bones, paralyzation, and even death

@mstiktok10 my dad had to sign a waiver for competition that said they were not responsible for injuries or death, when you have to sign a waiver form to release responsibility from the competition if a person dies its gotta be dangerous lol but it's the second most dangerous after football.

I dont think most people who do any sport related to this are saying anymore that cherleading isn't a sport. That isn't the issue anymore. The issue comes when one asserts that cheerleading is the HARDEST sport or the BESt sport etc etc.

yea a lot of the boys and some of the girls in my school say that cheerleading is a sport and that it is not the most dangerous sport and i tell them that they are wrong because i have been doing cheer for 8 years, and i have had friends and coaches break ankles from cheer

p.s. my bro has been doing football for 9 years and all they really get is sprained ankles, broken ankles and arms, concustion (sometimes), and really sore, and they have pads and mouthguards, wrestling doesnt have pads but they do have mouthguards, and cheer has not pads or mouthguards

this proves cheering is a sport. i had to stop cheering last year after tearing a ligament in my shoulder. cheering is a wicked tough sport. glad to see its being recognized now.
