reason why francophones have that accent is because during the 2nd wave of immigration in canada pretty much all irish people mix'd with french people over religion controversies (catholics vs protestant)

so the french accent in canada is just really some kind of mix between those two.

I live in Ottawa, I'm not sure you know anything about the matter because you don't live there. First of all, we are learning french, more than they are english and our new generations are being forced to learn french, because every job that doesn't even need french requires it. You don't seem to realize how annoying it is that every damn sign in this province is bilingual, but in Quebec, and all the fucking signs are french, no English. I hate the bullshit stuck up attitude of the french gov.

@xDisfigure Sorry but the French people in Canada need to learn english to the age of about 7 year old till 16 we got english class, i can understand that some english people don't want to learn french it's the same the other way, And for the sign it's because of the Law 101, it's not like watchin sign saying "La tuque 80 km" is really hard to understand to...

Quiet honestly, English people are very nice to french, if that was your fuked up states, there would be a war and french people would be dead. cuz you can't stand having another majority in your country. But in canada there are two majorities, because English canadian are not trying to dominate french, but french people don't get along with anyone.

I really liked your video, but I'm canadian, and I'm bilingual (english and french and learning spanish) and I don't agree with what you said about the anglophones not learning french. I've been tononly french schools since I was 4.That guy really pissed me off, because I do have some friends from Quebec, and all of my friends (excpet maybe one or two) are bilingualnor french speaking.
