In retrospect, I think Konami made this game to prove to gamers that they could make an awesome ninja game without the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles license.
Brad is absolute KING. You can't beat a black buddhist monk with a flattop, neon green shades and yellow geta that never breaks out of his monk stance even when skiing.
God damn it, why didn't Konami port this game to the Super NES and Sega Genesis back in the early '90s!? The Super NES's sound chip would have emulate the original arcade sound almost perfectly.
I assume this game didn't make much money in the arcades. Still, a console port on the Super NES and Sega Genesis (and possibly the Sega CD) would have been awesome. The Sega CD had one major advantage over the Super NES, which was Redbook audio. The original arcade music would have been left intact.

I just downloaded this game.. the second stage has a part where you ski. Contra on PS2 has a very similar stage. Konami is one of my favorites.
