Find it so annouying, it's almost impossible to get a kill at this point. All the enemies have everything unlocked, even helicopters can get rid of you when all you have is a dinky gun.

When I am locked on by a helicopter, I fly toward him, drop flares/ECM halfway in, and then fly under him. After which, I come around and use my AIM-9's/R-73's. or gun him down.

When you are flying in circles, roll upside down to the other side and make more circles and repeat this movement. If you have flares, drop them while doing this.

It also helps if you turn unpredictably and often to shake off pursuers - you need to break their Line of Sight on you so they lose track of you, then gain distance between the two of you so you can turn back, locate him and try to get on his tail.

My problem is, that the keyboard can not comprehend with the mouse when it comes to precision air strikes or even burst shots from the main cannon. The keys move the plane too much, and from a distance that can mean missing the infantry or even bigger targets.

You missed something IMHO, the optimal flight speed for making really sharp turns (Very basic stuff) which is around 300 to 315 knots.

no all planes dont go the same speed. First off the speed is how you win air dominance. Sure you can do those manuvers to shake him but decrease your speed by half by holding L2 and then you'll be behind him. It's like a car, the slower you take a turn the smaller turning radius there is.I've mastered jets by using heatseakers and machineguns (mostly machine guns) all due to speed. Then after your behind him push your speed back to full. I win every time :)

hold break but don't fall below 240 or you start to stall. Slow down to about 280 then hit the throttle for like 2 secs and repeat untill you get behind someone. If you in a f-35 you instantaneously have an advantage over your opponent because you can break way faster than he can.

Don't.. . fly in circles. This exposes the most area and your cockpit while flying, making you a BIG target for machine guns. An experienced pilot will just slow down with you and destroy you before you even know what happened.

ok so i hm have a hard time, turning my jets. I know how to take off, go up down, straight, pull up, nose dive, a roll, but always in a straight line and i always fly off the map. When i try to turn i lose control and crash. I know its something do with the right stick mainly and little with the left, but i cant seem to turn my jets in like left or right. I just started, but its fustrating.

@goswami88 You have to rotate your jet 90 degrees to left or right, then pull back on your analog stick. You effectively turn the plane on its side and then pull the stick into what would be a climb if you are level. If you move your left stick side to side, you will make slow gradual turns. To turn quickly you must rotate the plane on its axis then pull back (or push forward but that will not turn as fast).

@ZkrisZ123 Try slowing down a nice amount of distance away from it, preferably from a place where infantry/jets don't see you. Try as good as you can to lead your shots, and if you manage to, try being on the helicopter's tail and not fly on him from the side. Doing these steps will make it much easier to take down helicopters.

@TheMcCoWaN43 screen shake might be lag, cause when i have bad connection i get alot of lag. The cannon takes time to master, but basically if you can get really close behind him you would have a good chance. If you think someone is behind you do hard banks (thats what i do). Just try to shake him off and DO NOt fly straight if someone is behind you.

@acevincent2001 jets are only in the conquest and rush game modes. They are available in most of the big maps and usually a team gets 2 jets in or near their spawn (for conquest, rush i believe is 1 jet for each team).
