People saying that the iPhone is junk because the glass shattered when it was dropped on concrete are fucking mental. That's like driving a car into a lake and then saying that sucks because it stopped running. I could do this drop test with a rock vs an iPhone, and I would get the same results. Wanna know why? Because you're dropping a fucking phone. What do you do with smartphones? Just about everything EXCEPT drop them.
@JustASteezMachine First of all, accidents happen. Everyone has dropped their phone before on accident. Second, your car analogy would be good if it was comparable to this drop test but its not. The iPhone was made with material that only a retard would use to make a phone with so it is much more fragile and much easier to destroy. Now as far as cars go, all cars will flood if driven into a lake, no matter what company makes it. All cars will flood but only the iPhone will shatter so easy.

@sitbackrelaxxx It was mentioned in S. Jobs biography, and there are plenty of articles on Google. But despite whether or not it should be made of glass or not. Its still by far the best looking smartphone out there. And its not that fragile, I've dropped my 4s from heights higher than they did in the video and its perfectly fine but it should be protected no doubt about that.
@airleonard23 The iPhone being pretty is subjective. Besides, even if the iPhone was somehow proven to be "better looking" then any other phone does not mean all other phones are ugly. I personally think the iPhone looks plain and stale just like iOS looks plain and stale. I, along with most people, would rather have a pretty phone that is also durable and operates on a more open OS and also offers more for your money. Like I said, when buying the iPhone, you are mostly buying a trendy logo.

But it is safe to say it does look better than most phones and has a premium feel to it, the White GS2 is probably up there with it as far as looks. But I dont think iOS is plain or stale. And yes apple is trendy but it still has a lot of functionality

If you want to venture on to other comparisons, there are many things that the iPhone lacks on that aren't subjective. Yes Android also has a couple short comings but compared to the iPhone and iOS, there is no comparison. But this video is about durability and that is the original subject we were on.

But yea all this video proves is that it would be wise to buy a case for your iPhone. Though i see plenty of naked iPhones out there in the wild. I personally think the iPhone looks plain and stale just like iOS looks plain and stale. @manuelntu no way dude. i am 100% confident without a shadow of a doubt, the iphone is not wrapped in gorilla glass. sure it's got that fingerprint resistant BS coating on it, but it's not made by Corning. that would be way too costly and Apple's not the richest company in the world for no reason. i can tell you there are 80-odd phones out there with the Corning 'brand' on them...but none of Corning's materials pass through Apple's sweatshops...

Yes some Android users claim that Android is better but they always give valid reasons why in detail. Apple fanboys only use opinions and false statements. Apple fanboys are the only ones that have this "I own an iPhone so I am better then you" attitude

@airleonard23 Keep in mind, I am an iPhone 4 and Android owner. I have and use both so I am in no way biased. I don't dislike Apple, I dislike Apple fanboys. They are the worst type of fanboy hands down. If I was a fanboy of Apple I would be embarrassed because of the shit that Apple fanboys say. It would give me kind of the same feeling as if a racist white guy makes racists comments to a group of black guys while standing right next to me. (I am also white). It is embarrassing

@airleonard23 Android users will never be like Apple fanboys because Google doesn't create the hype that Apple does. Owning an Android phone will never give anyone the sense that they are above anyone else because Google gears their work towards making a good device, not a fashion statement. The mentality that Android users have are more of a down to earth mentality, not a "My shit don't stink because I own an iPhone" mentalitiy. The Apple logo is Apples biggest selling tool.

The iPhone is the best because it is Apple. I know that me and all other Apple fanboys can't make a valid argument or a legitimate claim to help justify Apples lack of innovation but the shiny Apple logo is good enough for me. Just because android has more free apps doesn't mean anything. Because the App Store still has better quality apps and developers would rather develop for iOS rather than Android because we help pay their bills. I personally get my apps from installous now, but I bought a lot of my apps for my 4s because it wasn't Jailbroken at the time. Besides you pay one way or another, nothing is free thats why their are ads. Which I personally hate. Beside's you still dont have temple run
