For example, Beslan had over a 1000 hostages and around 30 hostage takers, bombs connected to dead man switches, etc. They saved around 800 of the hostages. Given those odds, I doubt the SEALS or SAS would've fared much better.

@Ganderson1989 Ok, after careful revision of this video and some research the exploding stick is basically a stick with some low velocity detonation cord. That is why the entire outside of the bus basically explodes. Also, the guy on the other side of the bus had one too, although less visible. This is why the people are able to get off of the bus in one piece.
