it deffinatly sounds like old filth, but I dont think that things will ever truely be "old" filth again. this new-old filth is great, no qualms there..... been listening to Cradle since I was 6 when my step brother introduced me to metal with their songs from the album The Principle of Evil Made Flesh... granted I like their new works like Godspeed and Nymphetamine but Old filth is still real filth!

I think there is not much difference between Godspeed and Darkly compared to Dusk or Cruelty. Actually Darkly... is maybe the fastest and most brutal COF album ever while Nymphetamine or Midian is mainstream gothic in comparison with.

@thempyreans ...Dusk and Her Embrace, Cruelty and the Beast, and Midian you mean. Everything after that has been "Less of an effort" where as this particular EP shines some light on the new CoF release later this year.

I do agree that Damnation and A Day, Nymphetamine, Thornography and Godspeed on the Devil's Thunder were just weak releases compared to The Principle of Evil Made Flesh - Cruelty and the Beast.

Darkly isn't THAT bad, and this EP is quite good.

Filthies ok,listen the truth,the first song i listened by COF was Her ghost in the fog 6 years ago...then i was masturbating for days hearing it,begun to search everywhere for every single fucking song from them...what a joy hearing albums like Principle of evil,Cruelty and the beast,Dusk and Her embrace,Midian, Damnation and a day... COF died with their last good album Nymphetamine...since then,I cry when a new album comes like this shit up here..

I haven't listened to metal in quite a while. Used to be a huge cradle fan until all the shit they released from thornagraphy after. There last albu was all right but it grasp my attention like there older work. Finally, since what, like 2006? They managed to put out something decent.

@Ishkhander like you i was a huge cradle fan, dusk was probably my favorite album im not sure really its hard to decide... but coming up to thornography i knew they were gonna fuck up cuz it was starting to change for the worst, then after thornography it was pure shit (in my opinion, some people still liked it but hearing dani with a cracked voice and hearing this "nu-metal" music vibe, just wasnt "cradle of filth" to me)... and now its back to where they began :D THANK SATAN
