Day of Infamy my ass! Pearl Harbor was NOT a surprise attack, a result of US intel failure NOR a brilliant Jap plan...FDR KNEW about it beforehand and actually PUSHED the Japs to attack - Robert Stinnett's book DAY OF DECEIT, THE TRUTH ABOUT FDR AND PEARL HARBOR. The American public was fooled again and made to pay so that US military industrialists could get richer. 9/11 was the same thing. How stupid can you people be! US govt is just using you poor idiots!
Roosevelt manuevered Japan into the position of firing the first shot. Japan was defending themselves at Pearl Harbor against the political and economic warfare of the US and Britain, which threatened the very existence of Japan.
HUBO MAS GLORIA EN LOS SOLDADOS ALEMANES, MAS HONOR EN LOS JAPONESES Y MAS CONGRUENCIA CON LOS RUSOS, QUE CON LOS SOLDADOS USAs, QUIENES SOLO APROVECHARON LAS CIRCUNSTANCIAS TANTO DE EUROPA COMO EL PACIFICO, PARA ENTRAR EN UNA GUERRA YA CON EJERCITOS DEBILITADOS...
pure stupidity to think that the government would let the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor as an excuse to join WW2. If they had known about it and stopped them they still would have had every right to attack back. I think you need to stop being so paranoid about "big brother" and help make this country better by assisting instead of being such a pessimist. What have you done to make this country a better place besides sitting behind a computer anonymously complaining. I served! Did you?
in my opinion the americans knew about this. they where specting that the japs attacked their baso to star a war with japan and germany in fulll scale
I SERIOUSLY doubt that our american govemnt Knew about the attacks but did nothing. There MAY have been suspicions about it, but there was nothing concrete. We were still under peace negotiations with with Japan anyway. The people of Japan speak of the importance of honor. Well how HONORABLE is it to plan a sneaky, cowardly attack and then run? They even cancelled a 3rd wave of attacks but decided to run because the element of surprise was no longer there advantage.
a LOT of conspiracy about pearl harbor...some say that the american government knew about the attack through intercepting japanese radio transmissions and let it happen so that america would have an excuse to enter the war...and besides, the americans spotted the japanese fleet before the attack and yet did not prepare themselves...kind of fishy if you ask me
Hey enough of this joking around crap. Don't you realize how many of our young soldiers got slaghtered without a clue as to what was going to happen. The Arizona is still filed with the dead men who drowned and are forever in tombed inside the ship. If it wasn't for our brave soiliers in wwII we would be in pretty bad shape right now. I am a proud american.
hahahaa im american but what would be the point of invading canada i mean seriously u been our ally for soo fucking many years ive never evan thought of that
Chill out bro I was just replying to the allegation that we invaded Iraq for oil by making the point that if we are indeed the "Evil Imperialists" that so many people claim that we are; we could just attack Canada or Mexico if we wanted to steal oil. From a military perspective it would certainly be easier than invading ferociously nationalistic countries halfway around the world.
I never advocated invading Canada so what are you tripping out for???
You guys got to know Japanese soldiers were fighting for what they call their honor we do the same, every soldier has a cause worth dying for. Japan had some of the most Brilliant Naval masterminds in history, we would have been pushed into the US if it wasn't for Roosevelt's way to end the deppression. American workers all pitched in women too they helep way more cuz men were at war. Building carriers in 3 days damn! Nonetheless it took all of America. And then we cracked Japan's code.
You get a very interesting result if every time the narrator says Japan you think 'United States' and every time he says 'United States' you think 'Iraq'. Early mention of Japan's (think United States) desire for oil is good too.
Yes, there may be a large abundance of oil in Canada. The reason why it has not yet been tapped is because of its location. The oil is mixed in with sand making it difficult to harvest and refine. There is not a method efficient enough to profit from this. And plus, the US is way to worried about what everyone else thinks of them they they wouldn't dare attack anyone.
Hi, I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. I've created a clip of a WW2 battleship trading card set. It is rumoured that Hitler purchased this set for his U-boat personnel.

If we really wanted oil so bad why wouldn't we just invade Canada. no joke.
they have HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of dollars worth of oil, not to mention plenty of other natural resources, and no defence force worth mentioning.
Why not just walk across our northern border to get oil instead of going halfway around the world to get it???
Your logic has more holes in it than swiss cheese genius.
