i haven't own or play a wii yet, but i heard that you can use gamecube's controller for playing both systems games. i hope it's true because i used to play this on gamecube. i remember that this game was rated 5 stars and game of the year. the mercenery mode in r4 was my favorite, especially the male chainsaw. i get like 70,000 points, then open the door, then got 1-hit ko by him. lol.....it was fun and annoying.

@smoovovi You can play the game with a Gamecube remote I'm pretty sure I tried it out a few years ago :)

It may not look it in the video but, the aiming in the Wii version is actually excellent and I actually got better accuracy than with the controller, but I understand if you don't like it :)

@Cruze5000 hey what i did was keep the reg handgun, get the remington m870 from the house in village. shoot all blue things and get punisher pistol, sell old on. upgrade to new weps on and on. beat game. buy thompson with inf ammo then but the handgun back and upgrade it to max since its beast... lol

I love the atmosphere in Resident Evil 4 despite that it is more action orried . Unlike other RE game , just like in Silent Hill games it has preety intense atmosphere when its dark especially the tension beacause the game always throughs large and tuff number of enemies at you with the fact the your ammunation quilkly dissapers . Some puzzles were tuff just like in Silent Hill , [SPOILER] especially the one in the night room when you play as Ashley where you have to put pieces in order .

i would probably say tht it is easier to use the gamecube controller to run around but aiming is better with the wii remote.

if you are buying the game get the wii version as it can support the gamecube controller as well as the classic controller.

Resident evil 4 was actually one of the best games ive ever played to be honest it may not be like old classic resident evil but by far it is top notch and pretty much invented the way third person shooters should be played. One of the other reasons i bought a gamecube.
