Me and my dad completed our journey to ennerdale ( i was 12 at time thirteen now) and from ennerdale to the other destination (i forgot it) those days were one of the best of my life as we met some nice women and their dog. we all slepted in a barn that night and we had scampi and chips, our rucksacks weighed at least 90 pounds. It couldnt get worse, our blisters were bleeding the following day and my dad collapsed and gut a lung infection, im going to complete this walk when im older!
I done this in the summer and it was great, but I'd say just go for it in one day, of course, it does depend on what time you start and ability - i mean i'm only 18.
Very infomational. I am going next May we are just deciding how many days to do it in. Do you think it would be beneficial to split up the longest day. I think it is 23 miles.
Very well presented and you were clearly lucky with the weather. I did the walk 10 years before you and didn't even bother to take a camera. Same there was not a photo of the successful walkers with boots in the sea, but perhaps not!
It would be an idea to title these excellent videos as Day 1, Day 2 etc. so we can find them in the right order. I've done this walk three times and once on a mountain bike.(Leaving out 9 standards and going via Tan Hill pub! Now I'm a bit too old it's great to watch the route from the air.
Sorry wrong video - I had just watched the one filmed from the air. Your is great - a nice series of slides - very nostalgic - I did it in the sixties. Al

I am not sure what you mean. This video shows all 11 days in order with each day prefaced by a caption. I haven't split the days up.
Sorry - wrong video. I meant the one from the air, Al
