this was my first time seeing it, i enjoyed it i wish there was more to the ending tho like a small explanation or scene of how Kira and Jen lived their lives after they revived the crystal

@verweejerome When I first saw this movie I was 4, I'm 16 now and I completely agree with you! He has such unique vision. It's a shame he is no longer here to mystify us with his story telling.
@thequeenundisputed yes but his son.... with the organical spaceshift a geniune concept from a genius' son....I don't remember the name soap but it begins by a F I think...
Good lighting, extremely creative design, very fitting musical score, memorable characters, well written script and a timeless story. I give this movie a grade of A+.

And, his daughter is currently fighting with production companies to get it made, because she knows that he wanted it made and has the script and all the material to do it.
Jeez, there is a sequel is coming soon in 2013? The Dark Crystal was created in 1982! It is taking them 31 years to make a stupid sequel of the dark crystal?! I am dying to see it!!!
