  • what pen do you use before coloring??

  • Elidada! Immediately after you place the base grey in the jacket you begin drawing about 5 simple, black shapes on the model's left sleeve. With a few well-placed, abstract shapes you create the depth/shadow/highlight of the fabric as well as indicate the style.I know it's not random but it also can't be as difficult as it seems. I always get hung up here & ruin my drawings- how many folds/pleats/wrinkles and where to place them. Logic? Formula? (I know practice is key) Thanks for sharing!

  • Sweet that is awesome

  • great video. Thanks

  • You are so beautiful to watch and you choose the perfect music. What books do you have or where and how did you learn to draw.

  • @ceykid No, I don't sew the designs you see in my drawings.

  • you're so talented!!!! i love your work :)

  • I love it!

Hmm, if you are an architect, how do you know so many things about fabrics and how can you draw people so good?

  • @BlackMemory45 If I have to be honest, I started with drawing people BEFORE I started to draw architecture :)))) I always have been better in drawing figures, portraits than in architectural perspectives. I know so much about it because I do my homework :)) I have a good collection of books, I do a lot of inquiries and in combination with my own experience, I can give you any information you may desire.

  • i lolve your talen u have helped me so much ive used some of these techiniques in my portfolio im going to a work expirience interview so i need to show a portfolio you have helped so much.

  • @chantellefashion I am really flattered and glad I could help you. Please let me know how it was going and I would like to see some of your works if possible.

  • @izzywounder Honestly , I begun drawing portraits and later on I developed in drawing the whole body. I must say I'm still having my difficulties with the human body's proportions.

  • perfect !!

  • what song is this?

  • take a look on the very last seconds of the video, there you'll find it.

  • Your sketshes are amazing!!!!!!!!!:)

What do you use for coloring?

  • Do you mean in this video? Here I used either watercolors or transparent inks.

  • amazing!! but i have a question. to ilustrate a white taffeta your shadows would be blacks or grays?

  • I would say use both- grey and black. As you can see in this video I used the color black in three different tones- bright grey, dark grey and black. Fabrics have often softer shadows and deep dark ones. Important for rendering taffeta is to keep the contours/edges of the tones sharp- don't blend them.

  • U are so talented. Thanks for sharing... All your videos help me as I am an aspiring fashion designer.
