salsa is salsa, you can't change IT.The problem is that you have no idea what real salsa is and no idea what to do with it.Pull you pants up and get a clue.
We all have our opinions about who is the better dancer. But the truth of the matter is that it is very difficult to come out in front of millions of people then execute the choreography.
We as salseros do these competitions not just to win but to test and push our skills to their limit. For the time and effort put into this performance we should congratulate them for inspiring other dancers to do the same.
Believe me; the competitors criticize themselves more than anyone else ever will.
^^okay great. personnally, i live in la Reunion in the indian ocean, you know? Monday night, i'll have a battle of Salsa ^^ i'll think about you at that momennt ;)
I lived in San Francisco for year in 2005-2006, to learn On2 timing.
On2 is also very popular in NY and Puerto Rico, however they are considered separate sub-categories of On2 by many professionals in the dance scene, myself included.
France? I will be going to the Brussels Congress at the end of the month, I'm sure there will be a lot of French people there :).
* Because people learn different styles of salsa depending on their geographic location.
But that comment had nothing to do with anything negative toward French salsa dancers, rather it was an invitation to say Bonjour if he was going to the Brussels Salsa Congress this week (very near to France).

Please, enlighten us on your definition of "real" salsa steps...
This should be good.

You're a 70's throwback, to old to critique what current salsa is. Give your adult daughter back her laptop and don't forget to take your Geritol.
