I love your tutorials, but personally I don't like this makeup, that's only because to me 'goth' is a very hard look to do, as the 'gothic look' is to do with people's opinions on what a goth looks like, and as I guess I kind of am a goth... this is very different to what I would class as gothic makeup.

I like your make up turtorials very much because its different from this all too sweet images i get on youtube. Your videos are beautiful and more sophisticated. this gothic look is cool but i have some problems. I'm blond with pale complexion and sometimes its seems so unnaturally for me to look this way, too dark. I love gothic style and its kill me that i cant look this way - good look, i mean ;) Do you have sam tips for me? It'll be great.

@MadWorldGirl86 Perhaps try using really dark brown eyeshadows, instead of black. I have quite dark complexion, and brown still looks fairly gothic on me :)

It's a real noob question, but: why is it important to apply lipliner before the lipstick? What effect does it have?

@IlliareHylia Well it has its own purpose of accentuating the shape of the lips but applying it underneath helps the colour of the lipstick stay, I would presume because the lipliner is waxy so the lipstick has that to latch onto. I honestly dont wear much of either but I always hear this :) x

I saw that you mentioned the fact that pressing it on is better which i totally agree with, but this really neat trick i learned is to put about a 2 inch piece of scotch tape under the eye and another piece right under it so if you get any particles especially black eyeshadow it will hit the tape and slide right off. and when you peel the tape when your finished use it to place over any particles that may have slipped through the cracks and peel the tape again. it works really well!!

@spandexblondex yes cause every goth out there has the money to afford mac brushes and eyeshadows and make up. goths arent the only people who have the POTENTIAL to be bad at make up. most proper goths do it quite well. most people out there who arent goths dont know how much tan is too much, or bronzer or thing near-white lipgloss on orange skin is a great look. don't b e so prejudiced and against goth people, i bet you've never even spoken to one just because of how they look.

I used to do mine a lot like that, but could never get it to 'wing'. I shall try to push the eyeshadow in instead of brushing it though, because I used the majority of my foundation trying to cover up black smears on my cheeks. =P
