WoW is generally more fun but conan is more skillful. Of course they will both be obsolete soon with SW:TOR taking wows place as the generic, fun, traditional mmo and GW2 taking over as the less fun but more skill involved alternative. Since gw2 is btp i will play them both, just swtor more often

I prefer several of the high-level barbarian fatalities. The two-weapon one where you cut the head off, spit it on your sword and shake it off for example. Then there's the one where you cut both their arms off and kick them over - good for only one pune, but a good pune.

Man...how high of a level do you have to be before your bear shaman does this? My shaman has a two-handed blunt weapon too (a huge club), and she just slams the other guy in the belly, lets him double over on the ground and smashes him over the back of the head...which is still pretty cool, but not as cool as pulling his head off like a drumstick would be.... o.O

My biggest concern is that the "real time" combat means that your PING to the server is all of a sudden a much more important factor like in FPS games. If you have a low ping my concern is you get whooped because you aren't reacting fast enough in PvP fights. Am I right in this?

Well people who say that think mmos should be cookie cutter and have standard RPG elements like turn based combat and standard PVP system. But there are no rules to how an mmo should play, since mmo just means massively multiplayer online and not "Turn based, standard PVP ruleset". It is definitely a different game and combat can frustrate some people, but I enjoy it overall.

The game is much better all the mayor bugs is fixed and they balanced it alot better than before. YOu will absolutely love the game more now and you can re activate account for free i think, i think dev team knew that they sucked and so on and that they fixed the bugs and then allowed players to re activate for free once just to try it again an see whats changed.

Thank god dev team saved the amazing game.

Meh i played this game on release and i only lasteed a few days, i heard a lot has changed but I doubt it was enough. Theres nothing to do at level 80 and they should have centralised the game upon the guild castles etc, that was the big seller for me but it dissapointed, i only wish i worked for them and pumped all my ideas into it lol :)

Yeah, you have to pay to play. And there is no single player campaigne. Its all massive multiplayer with singelplayer elements. But you don't have to pay every month. you can for example pay for six months and not worry about paying intil six months have gone.

I have to say, WoW has be surpassed by TWO (not just one, but TWO) MMOs in the past year; AoC and WAR.

AoC looks plain brutal, which is always a good thing, and WAR's game mechanics, though similar to WoW's, are much better then said game. WoW WAS the greatest MMO, but in truth it is really just a testing ground and a benchmark now for what is to come in the world of MMORPGs.

they just rushed it, Wow is a piece of crap compared to the potential of this game. All the bugs were from lack of attention to fine detail and there team is going nuts as they fix it without rest. Your plasma has HDMI _input_. kiasta was asking if your _computer_ has HDMI output, which it most certainly doesn't. What it should have (assuming you have a relatively new video card) is DVI output. You need to make sure that your card supports HDCP and then get a DVI-HDMI cable.

I'm assuming your computer does not have HDMI output...if you wanted to hook it up to your t.v. using anything other than that you will get a shitty resolution anyways so it's not even worth it really. I think the max resolution you can get with S-video out is 1024x768 but I'm not 100% since I haven't used S-video in a very long time.

You do know that any decent video card supports HDCP, right? And DVI-HDMI cables are around the same price as normal HDMI cables. So connecting your computer to a plasma display is actually quite easy.
