is it me or did Urahara just did Getsuga Tensho? that cant just be a random blast of reiatsu, if so then everyone in the motha in this anime could do it. then what would be the point of Ichigo using that attack all the time?
@susuke Not sure if it was Getsuga Tensho (I actually doubt it), but Urahara seems to have the ability to match is attacks perfectly with any attack he analyzes the spirit particles of to the point he can negate them completely.
@blakbro2k the reiatsu that came out from ichigo's sword was a mass of compressed reiatsu created from a swing of his sword, so it was getsuga tensho. while fighting against zangetsu, the old man stated that he was able to fire a getsuga out of his blade whenever he swings because that was the ability of his sword, but he wasn't able to control it. now that he knows the name of the sword and this technique, he knows how to use it better!

OK, first of all you cannot compare Bleach to DBZ because these @ amines have a totally different concept. Power levels do not exist in Bleach. What does exist is the amount of reiatsu the each individual poses and their unique abilities, cool?
.Now then, Yammy does have 2 release like Ulquiorra. However, Yammy is no way stronger than Ulquiorra. Think about it. Ichigo defeated Ulquiorra in his final hollow form. Do you think that Kenpachi or Byakuya would stand a chance against Ulquiorra?

Granted Kenpachi is definatly the strongest (in terms of brute strength), however there are a lot stronger captains out there. Kenpachi does'nt have bankai, he never uses Kido or Flash step. Against someone like Byakayu, he'd probably loose.
Against people like Shunsui or Utikate who (spoiler) beat Coyote Stark - aka Espada number 1 - using only his shikai.
I don't think Stark is dead. It's not like he was sliced in half or anything. cause if Stark died from that, you can kiss Ukitake good bye as soon as Wonderweiss punched a hole through him.
Well, Even though its a filler (Current Bleach Episodes) They introduce the Byakayu vs Kenpachi idea for a short lived time. Thought Kenpachi could follow Byakayu, He just couldn't nail his hits the way he wanted too, Even though he did get one good shot on him. Sadly the fight didn't last that long, Brute Strength vs Speed and smarts.
You can talk all you want but just realize actual "powerlevels" don't exist in Bleach.
I mean, FFS, Kenpachi lost to a weaker, maskless Ichigo in SS, and now he kicked the shit out of an enemy stronger than the enemy Ichigo had incredible trouble defeating without breaking a sweat.

@Marth3114 those 3 stages are not resurreccion stages, just growth stages, imagine a 10 year old shinigami in normal zanpakuto state grow to a 25 year old shinigami with shikai (yammis growth), but he would still suck vs a 10 year old shinigami with a bankai state (ulquiorra)... u just cant compare physical growth with reiatsu and reiatsu control growth, its like comparing a 4 ton cannon with 10 pounds of C4 explosive, sure the cannon is bigger, but C4 is more powerful...
@Ryoushadow People could debate that SS ichigo was stronger than masked Ichigo. There is nothing that suggests otherwise. Also bleach has always shown that people can lose to far weaker opponents if the situation is right.
@Ryoushadow i think the only reason ichigo defeated kenpachi was coz ichigo had a strong resolve back then plus he was communicating with zangetsu at the time zangetsu lent ichigo he's strength. there are powerlevels in bleach though they do appear rather inbalanced.
@Ryoushadow You need to realize that ichigo's power level changes dramatically throughout the series largely due to his inability to control it fighting back his inner hollow and his fear. Its also reasonable to argue that for many of ichigo's fights his opponents weren't fighting to their full potential when they were defeated de to either the surprise of ichigo's sudden increase in power at points or they don't really want to kill him.

@Zakiro246 Ichigo has always been the strongest, right before becoming a shinigami, in the Urahara pit, he breaks the 99th lvl kido made by one of the strongest kido users without too much effort.

2) Byukya couldn't fight with ichigo when ichigo first got bankai without Ichigo having a HANDICAP on its usage. It was clear back then and Now ichigo has gotten many times stronger while byukya has gotten weaker.
No kidding.. he had no experience fighting about 1/100000000000 the experience of byakuya but in less than a year he defeated him thats pretty amazing

It's true he achieved Bankai much faster than most (remember Urahara achieved Bankai using the same method as Ichigo, since he created the method), but as it was pointed out during the battle between Byakuya and Ichigo, when Ichigo's hollow took over, he said that Ichigo couldn't use Bankai yet. That his bones were cracking under his own reiatsu. The fact that he only knows one technique while most everyone else have multiple techniques is proof that he doesn't have mastery just higher potential

@DaStar280 I'd say Isshin is the stronger of the three physically, Urahara is the kido specialist and techtician, and Yuroichi is the swiftest member being a master of flashsteps as well as hand to hand combat.

@Ryoushadow i think the only reason ichigo defeated kenpachi was coz ichigo had a strong resolve back then plus he was communicating with zangetsu at the time zangetsu lent ichigo he's strength. there are powerlevels in bleach though they do appear rather inbalanced.

@Ryoushadow You need to realize that ichigo's power level changes dramatically throughout the series largely due to his inability to control it fighting back his inner hollow and his fear. Its also reasonable to argue that for many of ichigo's fights his opponents weren't fighting to their full potential when they were defeated de to either the surprise of ichigo's sudden increase in power at points or they don't really want to kill him.

@bennar You don't actual know if Grimmjows power is in a sleeping state, there's no way to know unless you created him. It's easily more likely that he doesn't have those powers because he probably won't show up again.
I also do think Ulqi would win against Halibel, but that's the thing, I 'think' he'd win. No way of confirming this.
Based on the rankings, it's safe to assume Noitra is stronger than Gimmjow.

1) Before Ichigo got bankai Byukya was stronger.
2) When Ichigo got his Bankai he became stronger then almost every cap class from byukya's level and down.
3) Now (currently) in the anime/manga Ichigo is tons stronger then most captins.
4) Do you still disagree with ichigo being stronger then byukya?

3)ASK ANYONE who has been keeping up with the show who is stronger(show or manga), No one but a byukya fan would say ichigo could lose to byukya. . That is the same as saying the Cap-commander could lose to Rukia in a 1 vs 1 with Rukia having her hands tied behind her back and her sword on another planet. Not happening!

Plus ichigo could lose to byakuya only if he wasnt the main character. so stop arguing with me cuz you know if it wasnt for him being the main character he would be dead. plus that didint make sense with the Cap-Commander vs Rukia example cuz rukia wouldnt even be able to fight back against him so next time give a better example

1) You, me, and everyone reading these comments(Who has been keeping up with the show/manga) knows that Byukya cannot keep up with Ichigo.
2) Byukya couldn't fight with ichigo when ichigo first got bankai without Ichigo having a HANDICAP on its usage. It was clear back then and Now ichigo has gotten many times stronger while byukya has gotten weaker.

It's true he achieved Bankai much faster than most (remember Urahara achieved Bankai using the same method as Ichigo, since he created the method), but as it was pointed out during the battle between Byakuya and Ichigo, when Ichigo's hollow took over, he said that Ichigo couldn't use Bankai yet. That his bones were cracking under his own reiatsu. The fact that he only knows one technique while most everyone else have multiple techniques is proof that he doesn't have mastery just higher potential
