marshallers and shooters have a very monotonous job, its easy to see why they like to have fun with it, especially when they know the pilots well and are facing another 12 hours standing out there. The pilots know the routine, and so do they. Having a little fun when everything is green is normal and expected. 99%+ of the time, they are doing their job to the letter. If the situation is anything other than routine, its always 100% business.
First off i gotta say this..Homeboy was gett'n down on the run way..The boy has skills and im pretty sure he wouldnt do something that would put his life in danger...Let him live a little!!! These ppl work hard and deserve to enjoy their life just as much as us civilians do so stop bugg'n and enjoy the video...lol
just for the tards out there...at ground bases the pilots go threw that step like 10 times a day, they see him and they watch ,before the jet pulls out and turns he gives the salute/thumbs up witch means all clear, he also went and grabbed his head peice before the jet turned and the boosters were at the angle were they would damage his ears
Will you all take the stick out of your asses and stop with the "unprofessional" nonsense? Te motherfucker was just having some fun. I'm sure he knew what he was doing and did what was necessary to make sure he was safe while doing it. And besides, in these times, him and others on that flight deck (whatever the AF calls it) could use a good laugh to get away from the monotony of the war.
He took his safety equip off (ears) and threw them on the ground. Potential FOD. I don't know just seems very unprofessional. There is no way any of my squadrons would have allowed such nonsense.
That close to a taxing '15, he had to have double hearing protection. By the way, this is not nonsense. This type of "personal touch" has been going on for years on the flight line and with the cops at the main gate. If somebody gets offended by this display of spirit, that's only because they have a Dash 1 or T.O. shoved up their &$#. In other words Nordic, lighten the freak up. These guys work hard, they deploy often, so back off.
never take your hearing protection off on the flight line.....

ehh this was actually a project by a big bunch of dancers, who dressed up as marshallers for some sort of thing..
AaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAlan 2 years ago
@AaAaAaAaAaAaAaAaAlan Don't think so. This kind of stuff actually happens. That would be a hell of a project to have actual F15's taxiing.

lol well he if he intentionally did it that means he was well aware of the consequences!!
ImportLao 2 years ago
You could look at it as potential FOD i guess.... but i think it's highly unlikely that he would throw them in the path of a jet.
