Why is it a woman (Anna Politkovskaya) who spent her whole life reporting from war zones, her life under threat, doing more than anyone to expose the murders and tortures in Chechnya? Some people have messed up relationships, but denigrating an entire gender just makes you stupid.

@SarahHarperRock There are certain exceptions, of course (just like in everything). However women experience period cramps (very painful) and give childbirth. Those two are given by nature (or God whichever suits you) that make women fragile. Men obviously don't experience those.

I watched the whole movie, these 2 characters seem believable. The guy is obsessive to the extreme! He has unusual handwriting, a lot of curves below the line, indicative of a lot of scheming. She had nobody to care for her and was so desperate and he was still crazy about her.

I just watched this dvd last night and was moved by it. It's a trip how it seems like they only really fell in love AFTER they got married in the 70's. But having to live with her (seemingly) constant nagging everyday is probably punishment enough for him.

This documentary made me sick. I think he's a HUGE A-HOLE, a totally unnecessary human being. As for her, I felt sorry at first, but she came off later as arrogant and money-hungry, so, I really didn't care at the end.
