yo if i have a intel e5200(800 mhz fsb), should i purchase ddr2 800 mhz or ddr2 1066 mhz??? i mean the 1066 is 3 bucks more than the 800 on newegg lol
Well, that depends. a lot of times memory will run 5/4 times as fast as the FSB. So it really somes down to your motherboard. If your mother board can support higher than 800mhZ, then i would say go with the 1066mhZ. Theroetically, you could run the memory @ 1000mhZ which is still better than 800. If you motherboard only supports 800mhZ then i would say its up to you. If you want to save 3 dollars go ahead, if not, buy it.
