Good video. I just picked up a GB Pro with the 5" coil. Definitely easier to ground balance than my GB 2. Don't know yet if it is as good on nuggets as the GB2. Still learning the discrimination feature which I don't use that often. This video was very helpful. Thanks.
They're the same, both are manufactured by Fisher labs. One is more geared to the European market. The SE has manual ground balance, where the Pro has auto ground. This is the only difference per Fisher Labs.
@joehast Would there be a chance that an auto ground balance would fail to produce results where as a manual ground balance would be better for someone more experienced and would be able to tweak it to work?
In other words, is the auto ground balance fool proof?
LOL...as usual I didn't watch the whole thing before I posted a comment...sigh...well it looks like you can tell the difference between iron and led, so I guess the only question is what about aluminum? Thx.
Hey, Nice video...I have an original gold bug and well as you probably know it picks up everything...what I am wondering is if there is a point on the se, pro or 2 to where you have the iron locked out but it will still pick up say gold and led. and if so can you also get rid of aluminum or will it come in as a low or high tone?
I live in eastern oregon and they have the snake river lower than I have ever seen it and right now we're looking for led sinkers. Thx. Ray
Im so lost on what Metal Detector to get. I live in California in Gold Country and Im into what Detectors can do. Im just not sure what to get , I was looking into this one for finding gold in the hills. Thanx for the info!
good educated video relics... I had to send mine back to fisher agian.. the thereshold was broke... im going to do that next time i got to the river with the nails and gold.. Im not sure but gold is a kinda low conductor i think.
wouldn't the five inch coil be better in trashy ground?

I've dug nearly every item you've got there over the years and much more--ha! That unit looks and sounds good--bet it'd be sweet in trashy ground--
