Teenagers are strange creatures indeed. I remember being that age and not wanting to go to my Grams and just hang with friends instead. I did see her often at least twice a month and spent weeks at her and my aunts in the summer. But boy do I wish I had those days back to spend time with her. I'm sure your granddaughter will get it soon. I hope you get to see her in the next couple of days.

My oldest brother is like that. Never hear from him until he needs something. That irritates me more than it does my dad, but I think because it irritates me, it now irritates him (lol).
@silverscreamgrl ha ha ha! My sister says I need to make a bigger effort. She says something is "wrong" with Jennifer and it has rubbed off onto Taylor. I am not feeling very charitable... BUT, I am the first to offer the advice of "just accept all responsibility and fix it" when someone complains of a family estrangement to me. I can't seem to find that within myself. I'm just tired of it all, Beth.
@silverscreamgrl OH, PS: The sharp-skinned hawk just did a dive bomb past our feeder, turned sharply in the air and landed in the nearby tree. He is hunting!

I'll check it out..We had dinner with our son for New Years Eve and once they went home, it was a boring evening. Sorry you didn't get to connect with your granddaughter.. They go through some strange stages..Today was my dad's birthday and I took him cake and ice-cream and we had a little celebration for him.. It was fun! Hope tomorrow is better for us both! :))

Funny thing, i don't know if you ever turn the subtitles on these videos when you are watching them (you click on the red cc button at the bottom of the video box and then click on 'transcribe audio'),,,anyway when i did that here on your video the subtitles are almost word perfect, but on everyone else's videos the subtitles are wildly wrong... you must have the perfect youtube voice :-)
it appears to me that when you say that you have nothing to say......... you really have something to say.as for tv shows the only one i really follow is ODERN FAMILY. i love it. i also enjoy the middle and raising hope.
