I grew up in Tengku Rahman Street. My family was a few of the Chinese residing there at that time. My Malay neighbours were very kind and friendly. In fact my father was saved by a Malay when he was attacked. The Malay savior told the group to leave my father alone. im not an UMNO dude,
if u were to say UMNOs r bunch of a racial provocateurs la racist n all, but y do the chinese in this country able to make living?, businessmen etc, soo if let say DAP were to be da govt, i tell ya, malays wont get anything. nahhh, screw Lee, i only respect spore bcs of their efficiency n theyre well organized, n thts all abt it..im more proud with our PMs excl pak lah, bcs im real malaysian, i know most chinese in msia are belittling their own country. thats a shame tho.

I did this for an SS Project! I didn't mean to rake up the past. I guess, I just HAD to. Not like I had a choice since it was my assignment. I'm 16 years old for goodness sake. and I was 15 when this vid was made. Gimme a break mann.

@lastminuteman73 The point of raking up the ugly past is so that we do not repeat the ugly history in singapore.. Sorry dude, it is a necessary thing.. Do not let the lives lost during the riots in the past go to waste..

I grew up in Tengku Rahman Street. My family was a few of the Chinese residing there at that time. My Malay neighbours were very kind and friendly. In fact my father was saved by a Malay when he was attacked. The Malay savior told the group to leave my father alone. Later, I remember this man telling my father that it was some outside foreign plot to get rid of aliens from their kampong. I was too young to understand the meanings then. Now it is clear to me why we need NS.

Racial riots will occur again because all of us are breeding resentment towards other races in the name of tolerance. The government's propaganda of Singapore as a racially blind country should be demystified and all animosity brought up at the national agenda.

Narratively presented were incorrect,you received one sided information which was propagated by the gov.Because of that, we Muslim being ordered to perform in the stadium and the Adzan call for prayers has to be low in volume.This shows we Muslim of Singapore are more tolerance.

UMNO is the cause of all this. 45 years already and the truth are all archived. UMNO is losing the support because only a few benefitted. Their oil and gas is running out in the next 45 years. In modern cities and deserts are different. I do not like to be disturbed when I or babies are sleeping. Please be considerate. UMNo and Indon will go down in the nect 45 yrs while other are stronger because of fair and right policies

Its not the Malay/Muslim who attacked first,but there are group of people throwing bottles and whatever things at them who performed celebration of Prophet Mohammand Birthday Pbuh. were marched peacefully.I've talk to those whom experienced on that bloody day.Those muslims still marching while they being attacked until one of them which was a female participants crying to male participants not just keep silence and do nothing,we being attacked and stop marching, go and get them!!
