this is disgusting. the gullible humans who go in for these kind of quack services i dont feel quite so sorry for, but these poor cats are being forced to receive these treatments
If the cat had a bad kink in its tail it could cause extreme discomfort or pain. The Vet chiro mentioned the tail joint was less swollen. If a nerve got pinched or a vein, the cat could lose its tail. (Surgery, expensive) They use the tail to communicate and for balance, so if you could 'fix' the cat so it would be comfortable, you would. I mean, once it was corrected & checked, presumably this 2nd visit, I'd think that was enough.
Get the cat some catnip for aromatherapy and regular rub downs. We used to call it "petting" the cat of dog, but now it's "massage therapy". Next time I can coming back as a cat fora soritory house!
I thought this was mad until I viewed Medusa the rabbit having a chiropractic adjustment - seriously don't waste your money and take your pet to a vet
Let me educate you Real chiropractors are upper cervical specific. and they dont crack anything. I have never seen an adjustment on a tail, but since all of the vertebras are connected, top of the spine to the end of the spine. A shifted atlas affects the entire spine if it is out of place the other vertebra will also be out of place. It seems to me if there has been direct trauma to a tail, though that could very well be localized damage.
Whoever this "kobidobidog" person is -- they are not a doctor. They clearly have no formal training regarding the spine and spinal column, never mind the nervous system! A true DC (ie DD Palmer!!) knows that the entire spine requires treatment and upkeep... Just like you have to brush your teeth and have them cleaned on a reg. basis, you should have your spine checked regularly. And animals have spines, too... why should they be neglected? Research more. Speculate less.
Not all adjustments "make noise" -- the "noise" is a release of gasses built up in the synovial space(s). Not bone on bone as many think...
They've actually done research to prove that "knuckle-crackers" are far LESS likely to get arthritis in the joints of their hands!! The large knuckles seen on some is usually due to some form of gout... not chronic knuckle cracking... cool, huh?
Perhaps you shouldn't own a cat Docbrown777.Try slamming your privates in a door and you just might have a moment of clarity on that kind of behaviour.
@regalparks youre a fuckin idiot, these cats are being forced to receive this pseudo-scientific nonsense at their owners behest. the guy that posted this bizarre and twisted video probably wont publish my comments, but he cant stop people from giving it thumbs down!
WTH kinda scam is this?

This isn't just a regular visit for the cat which would be ridiculous, but this is obviously treatment for a swollen tail.

There is plenty of research out there go look for it before you open your mouth.

Are you people serious? Come on, has logic and reasoning lost all meaning? This is madness, atleast research this shit before you do it to someone!!

Please don't torture your cat. Going to a quack does not help to "get the kink out of the tail". Bones can't be adjusted that way.
