  • This song exhibits Waylon at his best and what can a man say about Jessi Colter,so beautiful and talented.Great country song and thanks to a cashfan1 for sharing.

  • very beautiful is any one listening to the song

  • If only country music still sounded this way, instead of that crap we hear on the

    radio today

  • i could set here and listen to this over n over ,, beautiful song...

  • The number one man of country will live forever through his songs

  • Beautiful song brings back a lot of great souvenirs specially when I could see Bill singing it on the stage.......Thanks for sharing.

  • a master.

  • SHe certainly "waltzed him to heaven," and loved him to the last minute he was alive....I love their love story.

  • there will never be another RIP

  • to me wayon was the best ther ever was.having said that i never cared much for willie and i still dont.

  • I worked for Willie and I do not believe that there was a falling out between he and Waylon. I saw them together many, many times and it was apparent that they loved one another as friends. Willie would NEVER pick a fight or start something with ANYONE. I don't know what the sources are, but I would love to see someone come right out and substantiate this story. I don't believe it.

  • @fayeroe1009 Believe what you want, I've studied this for years and know quite a bit of the Jennings family, both Jessi and Shooter have talked about this in interviews. Just because you worked for the guy doesn't mean he did or did not do something. According to both Jessi AND Shooter, they fought all the time they were around each other, and there were periods where they wouldn't speak to each other for days, weeks, or months. Either way, NO ONE should ever insult someone who is dying.

  • @acashfan1

    EXACTLY!!!

  • @acashfan1 does it matter if i was dieing i wanted the ture about what soemone thinks of me i been in a lot of battles over sea and one thing i dont wanted is for people that dont like me to say good things after i dead.lol just funny that way

  • @acashfan1 does it matter if i was dieing i wanted the ture about what soemone thinks of me i been in a lot of battles over sea and one thing i dont wanted is for people that dont like me to say good things after i dead.lol just funny that way

  • Dolly Parton wrote this song.

  • Beautiful Video!!! Thanks for sharing it!!---Lee

  • Every person who has said the Waylon is in Paradise and singing his heart out...well, that is something we can all look forward to when our time comes...beside Waylon, listening to him sing. RIP

  • @Photosareawesome Also, there have been interviews with both Jessi and Shooter where they have said that Waylon and WN fought all the time, even though the media made them out to be the best of friends. Both Jessi and Shooter hinted at that last argument.

  • @Photosareawesome It was right before Waylon passed, he was very sick at the time. No one ever right out and said what went on, but according to a later interview with Johnny Cash, WN went to visit him one day when he was seeming to go down hill even more, and had said something or tried to talk about something that Waylon didn't want to, and he told him he didn't want to. However, WN was persistant about it, and upset Waylon enough that he told him to leave, they didn't speak after that.

  • I love this beautiful song. I'm learning to play it now. Thank you so much for posting.

  • I've only started listening to Waylon Jennings in the past few days. He's got the most beautiful voice and he was taken too soon. The pictures are wonderful, by the way.

  • I do love to dance and waltzing is my favorite of all. Waylon's voice and style are so perfect with this song. He is one of the top country artists of all time and even though I love all of his music, his love songs are the ones I play over and over. I am so thankful we had Waylon as long as we did. Thank you for posting this winner. - Paula

  • beautiful song by two beautiful people

  • beautiful song, a great waltz. only Waylon can do it, what a great voice and artist.

    Miss you alot.

  • @eyebee13 I soooo agree. Miss him so much.. Thank God we still have Willie tho-

  • Pfffft, we have George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Charlie Pride, Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Bobby Bare, Loretta Lynn, Mel Tillis, Pete Seegar, Jessi Colter, Hank Jr, the remaining Statler Brothers, the Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Rogers, and plenty more that can a hell of a lot MORE than sing through their nose...unlike that whiney little man.

  • @acashfan1 Just because you don't appreciate Waylon Jennings doesn't give you the right to bitch here.

  • I don't appreciate Waylon Jennings? Excuse me, I have loved Waylon for quite a few years of my life. Who I do NOT appreciate is Willie Nelson, for he turned into a bastard and hurt Waylon when he was dying. I Love Waylon, always have and always will, I was talking about Willie, and really, if I didn't love Waylon, why would I make all these videos tributing him?? Huh? Read before you just go runnin your mouth.

  • I apologise profusely. Sorry.

  • wanted this song in my wedding....wife didn't. HMMMM. she is too young to appreciate the good stuff...

  • One of my favorite by Waylon just beautiful.

  • awesome

  • Great song

  • 1st time i've heard it... liked it, then played it a few more times now i love it.....

  • This is my very favorite song. Eve

  • I love this song. It should have been another "Tennessee Waltz" or "Could I Have this Dance for the rest of my life" type song for either Waylon or Dolly. Waylon sure does sing it well. I wish he hadn't waltzed to heaven so soon as he undoubtedly would have given us a lot more music.

  • I agree He was only 64 he would have been 71 this year He could have given us alot more but I guess god decided he did his job here but we'll see him again soon

  • The pedal steel guitar playing in this song, by Ralph Mooney, is hauntingly beautiful. Great song, and singing too.

  • Awesome, love this song. Thanks for posting!

  • Great song & great pics

  • There is a great lesson to learn from Waylon's life. Stay away from drugs. They will rob you of precious time with your loved ones and maybe even your life. I think she saved the man. May he rest in peace.

  • sure sounds like something Waylon would write for Jessi - I guess it's just because he always makes the songs "his own" when he sings them

  • Waltz Across Texas With You - old Earnest Tubb song that Waylon used to sing - I thought that was what this was - but this is a great song too...written by Waylon?

  • miss that man! remember him giving big bird a ride in that movie.

  • This is the most romantic song I have ever heard! I would love to have the dance and romance with him! And the lights down low....

  • Awesome couple, they don't get anymore beautiful than Jessi Colter. This song is so fitting to Waylon & Jessi's love. Thanks
