I worked for Willie and I do not believe that there was a falling out between he and Waylon. I saw them together many, many times and it was apparent that they loved one another as friends. Willie would NEVER pick a fight or start something with ANYONE. I don't know what the sources are, but I would love to see someone come right out and substantiate this story. I don't believe it.

Just because you worked for the guy doesn't mean he did or did not do something. According to both Jessi AND Shooter, they fought all the time they were around each other, and there were periods where they wouldn't speak to each other for days, weeks, or months. Either way, NO ONE should ever insult someone who is dying.

Every person who has said the Waylon is in Paradise and singing his heart out...well, that is something we can all look forward to when our time comes...beside Waylon, listening to him sing. RIP

However, WN was persistant about it, and upset Waylon enough that he told him to leave, they didn't speak after that.

I love this song. It should have been another "Tennessee Waltz" or "Could I Have this Dance for the rest of my life" type song for either Waylon or Dolly. Waylon sure does sing it well. I wish he hadn't waltzed to heaven so soon as he undoubtedly would have given us a lot more music.
I agree He was only 64 he would have been 71 this year He could have given us alot more but I guess god decided he did his job here but we'll see him again soon
There is a great lesson to learn from Waylon's life. Stay away from drugs. They will rob you of precious time with your loved ones and maybe even your life. I think she saved the man. May he rest in peace.
