I need advice. I got in a car crash 2 months ago and broke both legs. I'm now able to bend the knees. The problem is my doctor wants me to lose weight before I'm able to start waking. He won't give me a straight answer on the best way to do that. I can't do much exercise because I can't pit too much pressure on my legs yet. Any advice?

@oxbballbaby1 i eat a lot of seafood and veggies, i dont eat white bread, i switched to whole grian and oatmeal bread which made me loose 8 pounds. avoid eating fast food and fried things. eat lots of food that has water in it. the way i look at it is compareing the food to what it would look like dried. like grapes, grapes shrivel up to a raisin, so it has lots of water. if you look at a potato, when dried theres barely a difference. avoid sugary drinks and food too. i cant eat dairy.
that exercise also strengthens your core, and it does help get rid of that fat, i do it for 45 minutes each night before bed, at first i couldnt do it well because my whole body shook and made it hard, but after some practice, it becomes easier, your core just needs to be stronger

@oxbballbaby1 i do this other exercise, im not sure what its called, that you lay on your back and bend your knees and bend your torso to the side and touch your ankle or toes with your fingerstips on one side and then do it the same way on the other, it gets tiring after a while but once finished you'll feel a tightness in your lower belly. im not sure if its a good exercise for lower belly fat, but it makes me feel good lol

Okay so this might sound weird but here goes....I've been working out to tone my body for a month now, specifically targeting my abdominal area. I've noticed recently that my lowers abs on my right are a lot smaller than the ones on my left...The left side looks like a squishy pillow while my right side is toned..Is this normal? And how can I fix it so that my left side can be toned too?
I am really having a problem with that lower pouch. I am very petite and all of my other abs are pretty tight so that one being lose and fat just looks weird. I'm gonna try this out and hopefully I see results within the next 2 weeks. If anyone has any other suggestions, that you know work, feel free to share.

Too many people try to be trainers LOL!! I stick to what the degreed professionals tell me. CARDIO is a must! The fat will literally fall of your body, to some degree will naturally tone it. Weights and target exercises are optional, but a very good and crucial step to the body firming process. Add that to cardio, and your body will burn 6 times the calories. Throughout the day your worked muscles will burn fat and calories! Ab exercises do burn fat as well as firm. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
this workout helps a lot!! im in volleyball and sometimes our coach makes us do these. only difference is we have a partner behind us and when were on the floor we grab on to their legs for support. over time you'll get better. i can only do like 20 in a row though. their kind of hard. but if u do it everyday, you should get fast results.
To make them a bit more difficult you can add ankle weights or hold a medicine ball between your knees. This is better than just doing more and more reps as you get stronger in this area
I have Juvenille arthritis in my knee, so I have to do this exercise to lower the tension in my knees, with enough practice you should be able to straighten your leg while you do this.
You can`t burn fat from a specific region of your body by doing a specific exercise.
You can get rid of calories by doing exercises, therefore it will burn a part of your whole body fat, but it is impossibile to burn fat from only a certain part of your body.
@EscapingDystopia Since you can't train your brain to spell correctly, what would you know about it? Simple fact of the matter is, you can't lose fat and tone the abs by losing weight EVERY place else. You have to target the abs in order to do that.
@xxcharmed1xx The law that states this is called medical research. Your muscles burn fat by pulling it from your blood not from adjacent fat cells. Which fat cells give up their fat to the blood first is actually determined by genetics and not which muscle needs the fat.
As for ab muscles burning fat, yes they do but they are actually relatively small muscles and therefore will burn relatively small amounts of fat. You're much better using the big muscle with cardio exercise to burn fat.
Its a great way to develop strength in that area but your only working one small muscle group... To really burn fat from your stomach you gotta combine moves in this video with other full body exericises... Thats how you'll get the most fat burning. :) Hope that helps

its good it you feel it in your legs because that means your legs need to get stronger so this gets easier then it works on your abs because your legs are use to it :)

ab exercises are not made to make you lose fat. there made to help build the muscle in that area. you need to do some form of cardio such as jogging, biking, swimming to help you lose fat.

I'm not feeling anything in my stomache,only in my thighs.i did allot because i had no struggle and my legs were shakin! geesh this must be a good workout! but...is it really for you stomache?

that is one of my exercise everyday and i'll tell you it is so hard thing to do, i exercise 40 minutes a day and i felt like it's not working, i dont know what else to do to rid away this belly fat, i am not fat but i have belly fat i just have a baby and i feel so ugly everytime i seen this ugly fat belly..

ab exercises are not made to make you lose fat. there made to help build the muscle in that area. you need to do some form of cardio such as jogging, biking, swimming to help you lose fat.

@gilthanas07 Considering the fact that ALL exercise is pretty much cardio, you're really not making a point. You CAN'T lose fat in the abs until you TARGET the abs, moron. How do you think that people get that "pouch" there? Because they lose it every place BUT where they need to. Let me guess, you're a half-assed wannabe bodybuilder whom isn't even built, in other words you have no room to talk.

I don't see where she says this is a weight-loss exercise. She said it's working the "pooch area" because she was giving you a general idea of where the muscles are.
