  • is it brand new motorcycle or new cylinder block

  • great vid...can use this method on track too

  • Really, I think this is just a poor example of reckless driving. Your new engine will be nackered in 2 years, treat the bike like a lady u gypo

  • If you drove like that in Canada, you would have lost your license like 20 times with thousands of dollars in fines... just saying

  • if you dont do accell and decl under load its nothing more than a ring burn.

  • This is just stupid. Bad advice from a dude on a scooter. lol

  • nice!!!! the sound of your engine really rocks!!!!

  • @tribalfilipina Its the Muffler that sounds like that... ^_^

  • thanks for the video, its nice to see how other guys do it, and I learned something new . love scenery too, very exotic , lots of motorbikes on the road. cheers

  • Thanks for this vid. Got it right..!

  • Nice video, very informative. I know how to do the proper break-in next time I have a new bike.

    Safe ride. Like this video.

  • You could do this as the service. 50 bucks a break in! Then attach the vid to the bike and the customer would be happy it was done right! Speeding tickets included! Great work I'd say!

  • great video.

  • That's right helerrr, that's the correct way of breakin a bike. Bless up.

  • Shouldnt you try some engine breaking with downshifts to slow down? or did i miss u do them?

  • Thanks for the Vid. Im getting my Rouser 220 in 2 days and decided to do it this way. Good to see it on local roads hehe,,, tricycles and dogs all over the place. Ill do mine on the srp.

  • Hey guys would this procedure apply to a 2 stroke 98cc engine as well? i am getting my Yamaha RX100 rebored and overhauled soon, any advice would be appreciated. Nice video @helerrr

  • @TheDafc Just had my rd125lc 2stroke rebored etc. i think this is for 4 strokes. Be gentle with a 2stroke for at least 200 miles as it is vital to allow the rings to take shape of the bore. after 200 miles, gradually inrease the power, just nudge the powerband to bed in the piston. if its a scooter just increase the speed and acceleration. do this for another 50 miles or so, until you reach full throttle. just mine and others educated opinion.

  • can i ask everybody? esp. the video author. I am a honda wave 100 owner and as of now I am on 400 km of break in period. The 1st time I drove it I wasn't able to do aceleration and deceleration due to traffic problems. My question is, What is the cause of steady throttle to my engine for my first 400 km odo reading? They said the break in period is 500 km, Is it not too late to do like u did on your video to my wave 100? any motorcycle expert reply pls. you can write it in tagalog or visayan.

  • Pre ang galing mo..taga gensan ka noh? hehe..

Nice vid..karon naa na koy idea..hehehe!

    Keep it up..

  • So your saying, that you should do everything the opposite from the right way?

  • What cam are you using and how'd you manage to put it on there? I want to create vids as well when riding and yours is the best I have seen so far.

    Many thanks!

  • If you want to break in motoman style, go city driving.. You can apply all the rules. :D you go and you stop, you accelerate then decelerate and go full in straight away. How come your speed goes 105+ feels like you speedometer is misleading because of your small tires.. i dunno. but if it's not, then you have one heck of a bike. Ride safely.

  • Whilst I agree the hard break in is the best, surely idling a new engine for 10 minutes isn't particularly wise?

  • @1x1pur31x1

its just a step to warmup your engine before doing the hard run.

motoman always said, its important to properly warmup the engine before doing the hard breakin

  • @helerrr Pretty sure driving the car slow for 1 minute or so is preferable to 10 minutes of idling.

  • Some of the best scenery i've gotten was riding my motorcycle in these places. it's an great experience to ride a mtorcycle in the western countries, but a whole differently level to ride in the asian countries

  • does this work on cars too??

  • why is it so loud if it has no go????

  • @PupleHaz420 i also like how at 5:18 you pass that guy and then pull over to stop in front of him. great road etiquette.

  • hoy antmastermarshal, UGOK KA!

  • @pitzmesina wot does tht mean

  • Great video, describes the method well. I'm going to do this with my new CT110ag when I get it in 7 weeks.

  • where the fuck is tht bag of shit country ??

  • @antmastermarshall lol, that's a bit harsh man. Looks like India to me, but not busy enough. Thailand?

  • @jigmesam It's the Philippines my friend. Roads in not-so-major regions here aren't really all that busy... peaceful as a matter of fact.

to the point that shitty drivers take advantage of the wide (free) roads killing themselves or hurting others by driving recklessly.

  • @kkjgg112391 Yeah. It's like that in places where I am too. (Vietnam). Shitty motorcycle riders and stupid, selfish car drivers.

  • @jigmesam Oh wow, careful. My first ever major accident was because of riding the motorcycle too. I've never caused a motorcycle accident myself, but my brother who's a speed addict, was driving so fast. He lost control of his busa.. we slammed against the rear of a parked oil tanker...

Now I have a (small) scar just below my right ankle... 7 stitches and was painful as hell, to make matters worse... It's our quarterly examinations the day after the accident. lol

  • @kkjgg112391 Jesus man! That sounds like you were fucking lucky, no?

I've been in Vietnam for 1.5 yrs and I'm actually due to return back to Australia this week. I'll be buying a CT110ag, new. I love small honda single cylinder motorcycles. Bombproof and got loads of style.

I'll be using the so called motoman method, which of course is an old method, but well laid out online by Motoman, to break in the new CT110. Gunna wring her out offroad, a very very fun motorcycle.

  • @jigmesam Totally lucky, Lol.

Back to Australia? so you're an Aussie? Okay I get it, lol.

I don't currently own a motorbike but our father left us his can am spyder for recreational use. no one really uses it. guzzles up too much gas. I'm more of a "car" person. but motorbikes can be very fascinating though.

If i'm going to get a bike soon, I'd probably get a k1200s for sure. I just gotta land this contract I'm working on. lol

  • @kkjgg112391 Cool. Good luck. Are you Filipino? Your written English is spotless, so I assume you're a native speaker.

  • @jigmesam Yes 100% Filipino. (Actually not sure, my dad's Fil-Chinese and my mom's like... Spanish or whatever.)

Thanks! Lol, we speak English at home since my lethargic grandma wouldn't let us speak Filipino. But I know Filipino very well, Ilocano, Ybanag... uhhh English of course.... and some German.

  • @kkjgg112391 nice work man. I'm an English teacher in Vietnam. Well, until tomorrow that is. hehe Contract is finished.

  • @jigmesam Wow nice, so I reckon you can speak vietnamese or "tieng vet" if that's what it-is called?

  • @kkjgg112391 yeah, Tieng Viet. I can speak a bit, enough to get by, but not enough to be conversational.

  • @jigmesam Oh just the same with Deutsche. saw some of your vids. cool. subbed too. LOL

  • @jigmesam Ilocano and Ybanag are like.... Dialects of some sort from my dad's province sooo go figure. XD

  • @antmastermarshall It's the Philippines, the next time you talk shit about our country. Be ready to get those pair of jewels hanging between your legs ripped off.

Just because you're from england (Country full of boastful lazy-ass motherf*ckers like YOU) doesn't mean you've been granted the power to act all superior against third world countries.

    Just so you know. dickwad.

  • Comment removed

  • @antmastermarshall DUH-DUH-DUH-DUMB ASS. Of course you're not a third world, the term: third world is used to classify a country's current state of economy and many factors dimwit. Cut your dick in two and shove half of it into your mouth so you can shut the fuck up.... shove the other half into your ass to keep you from spreading your shit allover youtube.

  • @kkjgg112391 super weak

  • @antmastermarshall Super loser.

  • @kkjgg112391 go eat sum dogs

  • @antmastermarshall I'm a vegetarian. cock sucker.

  • @kkjgg112391 even worse u dick muncher

  • @antmastermarshall I don't eat cocks, you know too much about cocks. maybe you suck or even eat dicks.

  • thx aloot man...ur vid are very helpful because i'm gonna get myself a bike soon... :D
