i think milk should be fine if you mix it with water. it gives them calcium the way they like it. as long as it's diluted with water, i don't think it is bad at all for cats.
I love Pill Pockets too. I have found Persian mouths particularly hard to open to receive pills in a traditional way. The tuna juice is a fabulous idea! Thanks!

good tip on the flattening it out so they can't roll it around, i think that's interesting. i was waiting for koi koi to knock it into the sink though - far better behaved than mine :) will they eat from your hand? that was fantastic with the liquid after; very well coordinated. BIG kudos.
Geez I wish I could do it that quick!! lol The last time I pilled one of mine, I ended up with a badly bitten finger!! She was drooling so much, that my finger slipped, and her mouth closed back on my finger before I had time to get it out of her mouth!!
or you could just dissolve the pill in water, mix it with and dispense. maybe? easier than a whole dry pill.
