  • really genius..thanks a lot for your "Es Lilin"..best regards from Bandung-Indonesia..

  • Cool! How many players were there? I love the 8th note runs, sound cool. Btw what is the name of the song? How's the music score? Is it in do re mi, or do the players know when to play by other cues?

  • The song is Es Lilin. It's their favorit Indonesian song because it sounds very nice and also because it means ice cream, as you all know teenagers like them LOOOVE ice cream. They also play other songs, just check the one posted by Sebastian, the teacher.

  • Thanks! I'll check it out.

  • it is not do re mi, but "da mi na ti la da" its sundanese note. The insctructor point the note at the front. i know this because i use to play it, i'm indonesian

  • da mi na ti la da? Six notes only? How does it correspond to "do re mi"?

  • actually 5 note, da mi na ti la the last da is increase 1 oktaf. c B G F E C. It's pentatonic.

but now we develop angklung with do re mi note :) cheers

  • very nice
