I like being alone, crave it being an Artist so I can turn inward to make my paintings. I find it hard to make people leave me ALONE!!! I just wish I could be lonesome, just once. I remember this song. It came out in '72 when I was 11. I don't know why I could feel this song so well. Like I could put myself forward in time and imagine what it would be like to live it and feel it. Man, feel like crying like a baby. If anyone wants to feel good now, go listen to "The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A." by Donna Fargo. It is a real cheerer upper! I'm not much of a country fan, but I can see why it crossed onto the pop charts so well.
