  • Worlds longest exhausts! :D

  • UGH!!! That thing is so fucking cool!!!!!!!!! That has got to be one of the most bad-ass idles I've ever heard

  • Took me back to her first outing here in (i think) 1974. Pure magic!

  • it's in georgeous conditions, if you think that it has been buried for 60 years under 6 foot of sand!

  • Parry Thomas god rest your soul

  • Brooklands, Racing's Holy Grail ! We Americans love Indy but Brooklands ahh there is a true beauty, I hope to one day go there and stand on the high banking, Bugatti's raced there,Napiers, The first woman racing driver would have raced there but was not alowed entry,

It is said that Indy drew it's inspiration from Brooklands.

I can almost feel the history from here, thousands of miles away.

Thank you GB for your cars, and tracks, and Still produce the best racing engineers !!

    ER

  • @EarlRausch i visited brooklands today and saw this car, its a monster, 24 litre aircraft engine and thin tires! crazy! it was buried under sand for a long time after its driver died in it, then it was dug up and restored.

  • Its now in its own museum at Pendine sands Wales. Home of British land speed records.

  • I'm not familiar with this car. Could someone please give me a little more information? THANKS!

  • @lubbockboy1 Check wikipedia for BABS (car). It was used for land speed records back in the 20's.

  • @Mawerick77 THANKS

  • @lubbockboy1 google J. G. Parry-Thomas

  • If true, I suppose he could always return it as found.

  • I hear the rightful owner is to lose the car. Apparently he recovered and restored it in good faith, only to have his ownership called into question after the fact. Anyone know more?

  • Fantastic video of BABS. It's good to see it working again after being buried at the beach.

  • Thanks for putting it on. Wonderful.

  • I saw this car racing at the goodwood revival. It only managed about four laps and then a fuel line burst, still, it was fantastic to see it!
