Brooklands, Racing's Holy Grail ! We Americans love Indy but Brooklands ahh there is a true beauty, I hope to one day go there and stand on the high banking, Bugatti's raced there,Napiers, The first woman racing driver would have raced there but was not alowed entry,
It is said that Indy drew it's inspiration from Brooklands.
I can almost feel the history from here, thousands of miles away.
Thank you GB for your cars, and tracks, and Still produce the best racing engineers !!
@EarlRausch i visited brooklands today and saw this car, its a monster, 24 litre aircraft engine and thin tires! crazy! it was buried under sand for a long time after its driver died in it, then it was dug up and restored.
I hear the rightful owner is to lose the car. Apparently he recovered and restored it in good faith, only to have his ownership called into question after the fact. Anyone know more?
Worlds longest exhausts! :D

Fantastic video of BABS. It's good to see it working again after being buried at the beach.

I saw this car racing at the goodwood revival. It only managed about four laps and then a fuel line burst, still, it was fantastic to see it!
