No because the iPod touch 3g comes with the 3.1.1 software whereas this jailbreak is for the 3.0. I don't think you can downgrade either back to the 3.0 software from the 3.1 update

this is because if you just recently got your ipod touch it will come with the newest software installed but if you got it like last year it will have 3.0 so you have to look for a different video
