the motion tracker sucks for marines in my opion because aliens are so fast they can move vast distances in a heartbeat while predators dont even have to be in range of the sensers to kill u. in my opion humans got fucked over

this game is all about tricking ur opponent, faking a strong attack to block a small attack by ur enemy, and then railing on them. i mean u can assassinate if u want, but u be better off with face to face combat.... thats what i think at least

What is this your first time playin as the alien? If it is, then you really didn't use the alien to it's fullest you layed more as if your were a predator. Keep up the practice thought one day you might get to top 100 :D

Must say this is really amazing we tend to play it during the holidays with my mum she is incredibly good at it. @mustardede HAHAH you're pretty noob yourself if all you do is grabbing but when you come face to face where you have to fight you tuck tail and let yourself get hit, my tactic as alien is running around the battlefield always searching for the next prey/fight, i can fight i can hide and stalk and all but mostly i'm always on the move i can even chase those noob run away predators i can go an entire match without grabbing once, and i usually finish first with 20/30+ kills.

Nice vid. I figured the alien out too and have a good time with it. Gotta say though, I spend a lot more time on the ceiling. Nice hit and run gameplay. Only way to do it as an alien, the only character I have been. Don't care much for the others. The transitioning takes some getting used to and when you do, you expect it for every game. I went from AVP to MW2 and kept on thinking I was gonna strife up walls.

the cross hair for the alien actually points to the floor the peak of it orients to the floor so if ur on the roof it points up and on the floor it points down

being the marine is surprisingly quite easy after a while, just remember to keep your torch light off so u dont summon any enemys, and flick it on when they are close by. But my main issue with the marine is that he doesn't seem to crouch at all so its easier for you to get attacked, hopefully this problem will be sorted out by the time of release. Great game, i'll be banging one out when this is released!!

well after playing the released game recently there hasn't been any change to the crouching, as there isn't any. So when your snipering your quite exposed to the enemy so i'm a bit dissapointed with that.

If you've ever played the first or second game for the PC, it's easier to get used to climbing around as an Alien and not get confused by the altered viewpoints.

You should rarely run through corridors and chambers on the ground like the other classes - stick to walls or the ceiling to give yourself a huge advantage!
