  • @mijonju What kind of film was used for the second image ( 11:06 )? I really like those colours :)

  • @ChiquitaDieBanana thats eaither Polapan color or expired fp-100c can't remember. but the yellowish looks like expired polapan.

  • Penis comparison is so 2010! Capture-medium comparison is the new black!

  • @Scede LOL

  • Nice bepo shirt ^^

  • @adamax08 yeah! one piece Fan?!

  • @Mijonju Hell yeah! :))

  • @mijonju Bravo on the photos,I was going to elaborate on what I liked but I have to hurry to get more cameras haha you infected me I have mijonju syndrome

  • @Hatafuriyamanokaiju take it slow :) enjoy!

  • How many mega pixels is the FP1??

Joking! Mijonju, you are going to make me broke! Another camera I will have to get.

  • @esexx haha, er.. 70megapixel? no idea, its more like a motivation to make you get more cash :)

  • My sensor is bigger than yours!

  • @NLS87 haha didnt really wanna mean it that way.. but ya... guess my inside words got outside.

  • I love how when Mijonju talks about a camera they automatically go up on ebay for a lot money. Lol

  • @mattgatesphoto the fp1 was always expensive, around $1000, i hope it hasn't gone up even more

  • @erictsaiphoto well ya should be around 800 actually.

  • @mattgatesphoto haha, that's not true.. wait.. is it?

  • @Mijonju I don't know if it's true but it seems like it.

  • The reflection of the ring lights are trippy

  • Well judging from the size of the head on the bear on your shirt to the size of your head to your camera, I have concluded that that camera is mean.

  • @Jrshuffles haha no i am using a wide angle lens, so thing may appear bigger when i bring it up the the camera.

  • Your videos really isn't good for my economy. Now I want to start shooting with my polaroid cameras again.

Great review though! Really loved it! =)

  • @AndrPhoto i hope its more motivative then destructive :) heheheh..

  • @Mijonju Ofcourse it is, love all your videos! =)

  • Now this is something new ^^

  • @tongtong83 I'll be doing it more often :)

  • @Mijonju Looking for more unique camera from you^^

  • can mod another lense on the fp1?

  • @wilsoninhk YEs, but the camera will not close up anymore, i tried to fit a largeformat lens on it before, it worked but you can't fold it back so i changed it back,

  • @Mijonju Do you happen to know how to mod a Polaroid Land 700 to use fuji filmpacks?

  • @wilsoninhk I know some people do that, but doing a tutorial on it is probably gonna take ages

  • ur eye looks funny`~~LIKE A ROBOT ONE :)

  • @wonghomingapp LOL someone said i look like a mosquito..

  • If you take this slightly out of context. It's just a dude ranting about how a girl told him he had a small penis.

  • @aPieceOf LOL!!! Actually when i said that phrase, I thought of the same thing.. LOL and now im defending myself small aperture doesnt mean i dont get girls.

  • Imagine the light reflection off of the glasses being his eyes. Epic.

  • @puffie300 guess ill be doing this in the future too, cos i can read what i wrote without you guys seeing where i am looking at.

  • yay more mijonju ,KEEP IT UP !!!!

  • @TEHSOCKEY will do! thanks!

  • The aperture doesn't change with sensor size, it changes with focal length.

You will wind up with less DOF on a larger sensor for the same image, obviously, but in terms of light gathering, f/5.6 is still f/5.6.

  • @KsantiMedia yes sure, the light gathering is still the same, What i really wanna say is that, in order to get that amount of range example a 50mm framing on a 35mm film, I can get a the amount of range in that same distance and framing.. if 1 guys with a 50mm standing beside me we are shooting the same object, my photo will get more DOF i know its because of the focal length, but since we are standing at a same distance from object to camera, we also get the same amount of stuff in the photo

  • I love the over-exposed picture, the one with the guy in a cafe

  • @unknownchronicles ya i was using the exposure time thats meant to be for the inside, and the outside was sunny as hell, so the image came out like this.

  • Mijonju trying to pwn a small girl who has a f/1.2 lens. Sweet.

  • nice uniqlo tshirt :D

  • Wow your hair...

  • @chakracannon97 It's looking quite, uhh...feminine. lol But hey, if he's happy then isn't that enough?

  • haha those lights are staring RIGHT AT ME. That is so creepy :-)

  • iBag

  • nice sunnies (Y)

  • OMG THE LIGHTS LOOKS LIKE UR EYES...FREAKY...BTW NICE CAMERA

  • the light's reflection looks like your eyes. If you imagine it as your eyes, it's quite creepy.

  • I like that camera. Love your t-shirt!

  • Thank you for a nice camera review :)

  • Comment removed

  • lol, shutterbug? ehehahheahe Nice fuji camera!!!

  • Thanks again Mijonju! I feel that it is also very important for people learning about photography to know that the size of your capturing medium has nothing to do with depth of field.

It's a common mistake to think the format size is part of the equation. Divide the focal length by the "f" number and you have your diameter. The bigger, the more out of focus the background. A 105mm at 5.6 is about as shallow as a 50mm at 2.8! Also depending on distance to subject, and distance to background.

  • @rickogezmn I know what you mean, its the focal length, maybe i wasnt expressing too well, but the thing is.

that if I stand beside a guy with a 35mm film with a 50mm lens, and we shoot the same object from the same distance, even when i am using the 105mm I get the same range as seen in the 50mm. so thats what i mean with the format changing the depth of field, but its because its bigger, i can use a longer focal to get the same amount of range i need. and more dof like from a tele

  • @Mijonju

Definitely! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be questioning your knowledge, just helping the others out there who are learning from your great videos. =] It seems that many people today think that a 50mm 1.2 will have a more shallow depth of field on a full frame camera then on APSC, which isn't the case. You just see less of the image circle, giving you a field of view similar to a longer lens. At the same distance, same out of focusness, same bokeh. Just a lesser angle of view. =]

  • @rickogezmn oh no no, just sharing some camera love with people who understand each other :) totally agree with you :)

  • @Mijonju

But then again, it does make sense in a way, because with a greater angle of view a shooter could get closer to the subject, there by causing the background to be more out of focus, as long as the same lens is used on both formats. So I can see how that could be causing confusion.

But I'm thankful for your videos sir! Keep it up! Sharing your knowledge and gear with us is really a cool thing. If I could suggest a video. Your favorite analog Leica body, thread or M, RF lens, and why?

  • @rickogezmn I use to like thread mounts, but slowly I am getting into M mounts,

  • Hey Mijonju,

Could you explain how does the aperture number change when the format is bigger?

    Thanks!

  • @DJSynyster aperture doesnt change, if the film speed its 100 its still as slow, what i mean is the DOF of the small aperture is similar to a big aperture on a smaller capturing medium, its not because of the format, but the focal length that allows to capture the same range with a longer focal length thats why to put it simple, the bigger the format, the longer focal length you can use but maintain the same range that you need.

  • I wan't a calcium, carbon, fiber camera =(

  • @AlexisG73 that sounds like a weird combination. with calcium, wouldn't you camera just smash into 1 bazillion pieces if you accidentally drop it?

  • thumbs up for the shutterbug

  • Back to Reviews!!

  • nice sunglasses :P

  • i want more vids :D

  • the ring flash reflections looks like ur eyeballs.. quite freaky hahahaha

  • FINALLY NEW CAMERA REVIEW YAY
