I' m from india and the phone isn't officially available here by HTC.

So do you think that the phone will be updated to Gingerbread(2.3.4) if i get it via grey market ?

@herukhs if you have a nexus one/S you will automatically get the update directly to the phone... but you need the internet connection...

@herukhs Well this phone is still very fast in my opinion but it only works on t-mo or at&t i still get updated every time to time and i hope it still gets ice cream (the next big update) also i used laucher pro so it'll run even smoother. i do agree that is may be faster than maybe the ace but not the wildfire s, it has a 2nd gen 800Mhz processor while the nexus one has a 1st gen 1 Ghz processor, if you've seen the speed of the G2 then the wildfire is very similar.

I just switched from Verizon to Tmobile...enjoying my blackberry bold 9780 for now but I miss my old Droid Incredible..so im gonna buy a used nexus one, they are both almost the same phone anyway. perfect size. I love the design of this nexus, reminds me of my sprint htc hero. Yes, its worth buying. Here in the US you dont see many ppl with the Nexus one. Rare and cool phone!

@herukhs Moto Defy is a great one. I considered it cause of durability. Im a big Android lover and im now also looking at Desire HD or Incredible S. Gotta disagree with you on the blackberry...My Bold 9780 has fantastic build quality, is super fast and an absolute joy to type on! Its not the best media device (although mine takes awesome pics and vids) but its a true power messenger. Everyone is untitled to their own opinion though. cheers

@sabrieloco the battery life gives you maybe 2 -3 more hours since its all black, if you have a black background like i do or grey, that helps too.

swype will work for it you just have to uninstall it and then use the swype installer to install it again.

Is the lag finally gone? Is it smooth as a Nexus S?

@BarricadeSlade there was only lag because it was the first gen qualcom snapdragon processor so their will be slight lag, but on the nexus S it used a 1 Ghz Hummingbird Processor wich is a lot faster in terms of speed and load times so things will be a lot faster on the nexus S.
