But why in the fuck would they leave out that laughing two part harmony whammy bar riff in the beginning is so stupid? That beginning made the song much fucking cooler..Im thinking that because i have not seen anybody on youtube play that opening riff?

well obviously the ultimate technique is jason's one of using fingers only. i use different picking depending of what i do, i felt more confortable with. if it looks draining its cuz i had been warming up playing that song 5 times b4 recording it

Wouldn't the "best" (or most efficient, least tension) way of picking be pure motion from the wrist using oscillation (a "door knocking" motion? It's what Shawn Lane does, who is probably the best picker there ever was.. but anyway you rock, just commenting :)
