At 1:13, why did you use your star punch and get knocked down instead of getting another star and TKO-ing him?

Because he does a spin punch that wastes time to counter. But if you get knocked down there, he starts right away with an attack that you can get a star from.

Nice, nice. I might try a run on this guy with the new phase 3 tweak (that punch in phase 1 is frustrating, and I don't wanna kill myself trying to get it to work or anything) and see if I can better my time. Haven't played Punch-Out!! in a while.

Well, I went back and tried it with the punch cancel strategy, and after about ten minutes of trying, got a 1:16:67 with this strategy. I've got a ways to go, but thanks a lot, this video really helped me with the punch cancel timing!

They are both good systems and have there own individual Strengths. I prefur the PS3 its got blue ray and its very hard to scratch the discs.
