The thing is, Chuck Knipp's political leanings come through with his comedy. Obvious if Shirley Q. were supposed to represent a real black woman, alllll she'd talk about would be how we have a black president up in the White House ("Oh lord! Heppy days!!"). But considering Chuck's deep Southern upbringings, he probably doesn't even want Shirley praising him even in jest. He's still a brilliant comedian no doubt!
