  • Good vid right to the point, not sure why some seem offended by the small brush, the end result is the same. Nice work!

  • the reason you use a larger angular is that only 1/3 of the tip is used to carve in a razor line, like drawing with a pencil. The larger brush applies the heavy first dip about 1/2 inch from the line having enough cut in to meet the rolled on material later

Having a staggared line which is really suppose to be uneven so if it meets an uneven roller pattern it will blend in better (hide over difficult old base colors) easily without a boxed in effect projecting through and noticed when both dry

  • Really?

  • nothin that a good ol 3 inch purdy cant fix! haha

  • Sorry mate, I call bullsh%t. Show the finished product... I'm positive there is not a straight line there... If it was this quick and easy, I'd be knocking ceilings off left and right, but alas, it isn't. Cute brush though...

  • If you are going to post a video to show people how to cut in, you should at least learn how to do it first.

  • Here are some before and after photos of my amateur paintg:

  • lol its that your girlfriend make-up brush lol

  • R u just showing of what u have learned? cause u have not explained any technics

  • if you re getting pay per hour on your painting job, this is a good example :)

  • Boy thats a cute little brush you have there. lol

  • This is a poor example of cutting in without tape. Also does not show the finished product with good lighting - the edge is in a shadow?!?! C'mon, man, stick to something you can do.

  • messy and slow..b better stickin tnt in a tin of paint and lighting it..less mess!!!

  • how many times must you paint the same spot? I would think once is plenty if you really knew what yo were doing!

  • this "painter" is working himself or herself out of a job. time is money and this person paints like time is not a consideration. amateur is right.

  • I'm glas you don't work for me!!! Using what appears to be a 2" SASH TO CUT IN IS amateur at it's best

  • I admit that it would not have been my first brush choice, but when in a bind. It does however show a lack of intelligence on your part to say such things about someone and a situation that you know nothing of.

The heading on this is not: The best brush to cut a paint line without tape.

But, alas, you are right. This is NOT the best brush to use. I would most certainly have used a tapered brush had this been done just for youtube, but it was not.

    Where are your videos?
