@Buckley4U i can't answer for John Fenn but personally... i'm not one to flow largely in the gift of intercession, but the times it has hit me for specific things... in between crying and speaking in tongues... groaning is inevitable.

@hockeyrulesus there are 2 types of language that Holy Spirit gives:Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels.Readcarefully this verse- For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.not unto man for no man understandeth him..it no like in Acts it is not the human tongues.Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues,what shall I profit you.thay need interpritation

I love the way John Fenn explains stuff. My friend and I were talking last night about the very first time I prayed in tongues....LOL I was so shocked coz I didn't even realize I was doing it!

I'm not sure if you were asking me the question but seeing as it turned up on my comments list, I presume it was me.....no, I don't understand the words I utter...but somewhere deep in my spirit comes a knowing. I can't explain it....when I praise God in tongues I feel a peace that goes beyond anything I've ever known. I feel the presence of God in a way I can never explain either. It's like being wrapped in a warm blanket, like soaring through the heavens.........enveloped in His love.......

When I am interceding for someone in tongues, I have no idea what I'm saying, but I sometimes feel an agony in my spirit....sometimes I sob my heart out as I'm praying.....it's as though I feel the pain this person is feeling....sometimes I feel the sin in their heart and it causes me a grief, like death.
