VitoArc and Stihlman you guys are retards watch the complete set of videos it's all in there. Chain break or kick back guards it's the same shit u manual reliant nerds, he just refers to it as kickback guard which is a common term for it.
Try as I might, I could not figure out how ear plugs and chaps help you start a chainsaw. With the chaps you may be able to wrap the belt around the pull start handle to give a long arm guy some extra room but I'm at a complete loss on how the ear plugs help you start the saw.
First. that is a very old stihl saw. for best instructions on sthil products, plz contact your nearest sthil dealer. If they deal with Stihl they know stihl. I had to take a whole class on it to be able to sell anyone a saw at the hardware store i work at. They can answer any questions you have....trust me....i do everyday just about
What the ****? They must have been getting ready for a picnic and his wife told him to keep that dirty, old Husqvarna off the table. "Okay dear, can I put the saws under the table?" Worthless video.
Or the fact that you should probably remove the scabbard before you start it if you don't want a whole bunch of excitement in a hurry (particularly when an old saw with no chain brake like that Stihl is set on high idle).
I actually thought he was gonna fire her up like that for a second. That would have gotten 5 stars from me just for its entertainment value...;)
My 024 super from 1983 is modern compared to that saw!

It is pronounced steel you piece of shit
nickanto 3 years ago
you are correct, it is actually pronounced "still".
bradenn 3 years ago
actually according to the internet ...
It's supposed to be "steel", although you should say "schteel" if you're German.
My apologies, I always thought it was "still". Guess not.
walterbrunswick 3 years ago 2
They're made in germany...
It's pronounced "Steel".
In German there's a little of an "SH" sound to it,
but not heavy like "SCH" would sound.
The instructional videos on the StihlUSA and Husqvarna websites are better.
