look the last jump was with a tramboline because if u look closely, he wass strugglin alil at the beginning but at the end e]his elbow is past the mutha freakin rim wtfreak lol
I can't stop watching this ad! At the 12 second mark when his foot just stops and rests there as if stepping onto some invisible block, is mindblowing. People back in 1987 went nuts for this stuff. The music, the picking guitar, the crescendo, the revolutionary dunk and the voice over "Air Jordan... AWW Yeeah!" (basically) LOVE IT
I was always fascinated by the "air step" moment too. It looks fake but not. Could be that he was moving up at the same rate his foot was moving down so it looks like it pushing off. Whatever it is it's kind of hypnotic.
@delltardboy This isn't a song but an original composition scored specifically for this spot that I wrote for Nike in '87 or '88 that features a singer named Vesta Williams and has Nathan East on bass and Harvey Mason on bass - there isn't a long version, sadly..

@Nuny26feature no they made him do the dunk again because it looked like he was barely getting the dunk in the first time so he jumped higher.
