OK... Is it now fair to call "Love Changes" an R&B Standard? This song was written more than 30 years ago. Jamie and Mary aren't even deviating from the original motif of the song. It's almost instantly identifiable of the than the fact that it is riding a heavy drum track. My preference is for the Rhodes Fenders Piano that dominates the original but then again that is my favorite instrument.
