@sonata321 If you haven't filed a motion to bring this before the court you should, the FOC has no jurisdiction over past due arrears, the judge is the only person that can eliminate the balance,. The FOC will not even try to for obvious reasons. This is the first step to get it reviewed by a higher court ( Appeals). Also check the statute of limitations, from the last action, I would bet most of these funds can be eliminated by the statute its self baring them from any collection efforts.

The state automatically intercepts the payments and the custodial parent forfeits the right to the payments to the state as reimbursement for the welfare received. ITS ABOUT THE MONEY.
I think we should abolish marriage altogether. Mothers should be able to work at home to support their children. We also need a constitutional amendment that protects the rights of mothers and not use children as a commodity for the exchange of cash. The government should not be allowed to interfere in the personal lives of children and families.
