2wd SUV is fine. When I drove the road in May of 2008 it looked to have been recently graded. The only spot I was worried about was the ford of the Paria River
near the road that turns off to Kodachrome Basin, but the water was fairly shallow, so there was no problem.

You should have no trouble as long as the road is dry. Do not do the drive if rain is threatening!

I'm going to drive this to Kodachrome sp. I have a Jeep , but I'll be pulling a pop-up trailer. I hope I can make it.

Considering to take this road in late June if weather is dry. Wondering if 2wd SUV is sufficient or if 4wd is a must. Great video.
