scott i have 3 45w HF kits 1 350w pure sine 12v plug in inverter can i hook all 3 to it and plug it in the wall (no batteries) positive to pos. post, neg. to neg post .neg. post inverter? contact nulty53@gmail.com pls.i'm dumm as a rock on this . please answer god bless
@jinulty AN INVERTER WOULD JUST BURN UP. A GRID TIE INVERTER ON THE OTHER HAND, IS WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE WALL CIRCUIT. I'M NOT SURE WHAT IS MEANT BY HF KIT THOUGH.
THE GRID TIE INVERTER WOULD WORK AS LONG AS THE INPUT VOLTAGE IS NOT EXCEEDED.
@DIYMakerman THESE FRAMES ARE A BIT FLIMSY. BUT I FIGURE THEY WOULD BE BEST MOUNTED ON THE ROOF. BUT THEY WOULDN'T BE GOOD ENOUGH TO BE USED AS THE MAIN ROOF COVERING. ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THE GLASS IS TEMPERED, I AM INCLINED TO COVER THE PANELS WITH LEXAN SHEET WITH A GAP FOR AIR. THIS WOULD PUT MY MIND AT EASE IN THE EVENT OF HEAVY HAIL STORMS.
@muddymuddymuddmann Yes, they use the time while others are talking, to compose their next verbal assault. Opposing points are only scanned for weakpoints , on which to pin a rebuttal... "In every interview a sale is made, you WILL sell the product, or they'll sell their objections" ! That was what the Insurance Company taught us, at "Sales Training School", in 1979. Now, they're smarmier !
@bigjoekasulis I NAMED MINE "ELMOORE FUDDPUCKER" THANK YOU. THE OTHER ONES' NAME IS "BURNIE DE-LA FANGER". LOL.
BURNIE IS A BERNZOMATIC 0311, AND HAS BURNED MY FANGERS TWICE.
ELMOORE IS A RADIO SHACK 01A05. IT WAS USED TO SOLDER THE WIRES FROM THE STATOR OF THE AXIAL FLUX WIND TURBINE TO THE BOLTS. RADIO SHACK DOESNT SELL ELMOORES ANYMORE.
THE REAL MAKER OF THAT ONE IS IRODA... THE MODEL IS SOLDERPRO 50. AND IT IS AVAILABLE.
@bigjoekasulis THE ONE IN THIS VIDEO IS THE BERNZOMTIC 0311. THE COOL THING ABOUT BURNIE, IS THAT YOU DONT LOOSE THE TORCH TIP AS EASILY AS THE SOLDERPRO 50.
@muddymuddymuddman G'day... Yep, I know what y' mean. When I ring up the Sheepurbs, to talk to a Painted Secretary or a Clerk, I warn them early that it's Strange-& Wonderful-Request-of-the-Day time..! Admitting to being the Fool On The Hill helps, too ; it stops them from expecting me to be "normal",makes them pay more attention, & laugh. And, it's true, whìch always helps a conversation ! Inbreds, yup. Local pockets of that, here. Thus, OUR clan breeds t Outland Squaws
@WarblesOnALot YA SOME PEOPLE LISTEN LIKE THE BROWSER SEARCH ENGINE DOES. IT TAKES SEVERAL TRIES OF WORDINGS TO GET CLOSE TO THE ANSWER YOU WERE LOOKING FOR. AND SOMETIMES IT JUST CANT GET IT RIGHT NO MATER HOW MANY WAYS YOU INPUT THE INFO.
FIRST THEY HAVE TO STOP HEARING THEIR OWN THOUGHTS, AND REALIZE THAT THEIRS IS IN THE WAY OF TRUE ATTENTION. YOU CANT LISTEN IF YOU ARE TALKING, BUT SOME NEVER STOP TALKING TO THEM SELVES INSIDE.
@muddymuddymuddman Well, they don't say much, but gesture & gaze-alternation gets a lot accross. To be fair, Fernando Rambo was probably checking the Changes to be sure the SunFoils didn't present any threats... But it was a pair of Kosmic Moments... "Hmm, Food will still be there, and I'll be over to you directly ; but first let me see & examine what that thing on y'r Car Roof might be...!" More observant than most people, many of whom notice nothing..!
@WarblesOnALot I TAKE THOSE OBSERVATIONAL COMMENTS TO BE FACT. MOSTLY THROUGH EXPERIENCE. EVEN WHEN EXPLAINING A SITUATION TO A SERVICE COMPANY, YOU HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT IN THREE DIFFERENT WORDINGS BEFORE THEIR ATTENTION GETS SYNCED WITH YOURS. JUST LIKE DUE TO INBREEDING, BUYING ONE PRESENT, MIGHT JUST COVER 3 PEOPLE ON THE FAMILY TREE IN WEST VIRGINIA.
My father just had an issue with his 93 Dakota last Thursday... no spark, or gas. After looking at the wire harness I could see why. A splice coming out of the relay box (under the hood) was shot. They 4 wires spliced together with just a crimp... which had rotted, wires feed ECM . Finally got to use some of my heat shrinks from my electrical kit. :) Crimp they used for feed going to alternator was also shot, $9 for just the crimp and heat wrap.
The hook up and unhook seams backwards as we do the opposite when working with car audio as not to burn out a unit when it tries to make a ground on its own.
@AReptileMan YA NEGATIVE GROUNDING CASES ON A NEGATIVE GROUNDED CAR, MAKES IT VERY HARD TO INSTALL WHILE THE POSITIVE IS CONNECTED. ARCHING AND SPARKING ALMOST CONTINUALLY DURING INSERTION OF DEVICES CAN DAMAGE THE PROTECTION DIODES AND POSSIBLY THE COMPONENTS IN THE UNIT. BUT WHEN YOU DO AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR YOU ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE TO THE BATTERY BEFORE WORKING ON THE VEHICLE. THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP ON CAR AUDIO. CONFUSING ISN'T IT. I WILL REMEMBER THAT.
@muddymuddymuddman Yay Team, no worries Scotty ; the Grey Kangaroos & Birds were fed at Dawn, The Swampies are waiting for the wind to die down. Cold & miserable day, it is. One of the Swampie Bucks, when visiting after months away, will deviate from the direct path toward me & food- offered ; to go, & stand up on TippyTripod, to examine first the MK1, & then Mk3, SunFoil on the car - before eating..! Fernando-Rambo, Wallaby PV Critical Analyst... If new, he studies it !
@WarblesOnALot HA HA , SMART BUNCH OF SWAMPIES THERE. YOU MUST BE PROUD OF THEM. FERNANDO-RAMBO PROBABLY SHOULD HEAR THE DATA THAT GOES ALONG WITH THE NEW SUN FOILS. HE MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE.
Hey bru, I am in the market for a kit too, can ya gimme the pertinent info? HF has one at 45 watts, but I like yers better, plus the extras! I have a 400 watt inverter, I may need help with how those work too! THX for yer cool vids!
@TheDarkeJ IT CAME FROM NORTHERN TOOL. THEY HAD IT FOR 300 BUCKS, BUT IT WAS CHEAPER ON THEIR WEBSITE. SO THEY LOWERED IT TO THE WEB PRICE. I TRIED FOR LESS, BUT IT DIDNT HELP. THE WATTAGE OF THE ONE AT H.F. IS 45 WATTS. THE WATTAGE OF THIS ONE IS 60 WATTS. I'VE SEEN 3.5 AMPS SO FAR, BUT THEY CLAIM 4 AMPS. 4 X 15 VOLTS IS 60 WATTS. BUT THE CHARGE CONTROLLER STOPS WHEN THE BATTERY GETS TO 14.25 . 14.25 X 4 = 57 WATTS OR, 14.25 X 3.5 = 49 WATTS. THAT'S THE BEST I'VE SEEN SO FAR. I LIKE IT.
@muddymuddymuddman G'day Muddy... Great clip. I like the attention to detail. Um, if y're in the mood, go back to the Descriiption, & fix the typo at the beginning...; the "is" came out as 'SI'. Yestidy Iadded a heap to the Boomerang Descript., when I realised the Clip'd said zilch about Pitch angles !... Typo's & Forgettery, always lurking & striking ; I find. Did y' cross 2 rulers, or do I gotta make y' a Pinwheel ? Now going to #2. Browse-pack permiting... Ciao.
@WarblesOnALot HEY CHRIS, GLAD TO HEAR FROM YA. AND EVEN GLADDER TO HAVE TIME TO SAY HELLO. BEEN BUSIER THAN A ONE ARMED MAN IN A PIZZA MAKER. I STILL HAVE 3 MORE VIDEOS TO EDIT. AND A MAD CLEAN UP AHEAD OF ME. THE YARD IS AN OBSTACLE COURSE. AND I GOTTA CALL AROUND TO FIND SOME DRILLING PIPE FOR A TOWER. HOPEFULLY I CAN FIND IT IN SCRAP.
SAY HELLO TO THE LITTLE ROOs. THEY'RE CUTE LITTLE BUGGERS.
@JANDLWOODWORKING THANKS FOR THAT. I LIKE THE WAY YOU MIX THE USE OF TOOLS. PRETTY INGENIOUS. I CANT WAIT TO GET THE SHOP BUILT SO I CAN PLAY WITH SOME OF THE TRICKS.
THEY PROJECT SCATTERED SHOWERS FOR TONIGHT, BUT I'VE HEARD THAT BEFORE. BUT IT SOUNDS NICE.
@TheBillythekid2010 MINE ARE AMORPHOUS PANELS TOO. I HAD A SMALL ONE YEARS AGO THAT LASTED A YEAR AND A HALF. THE FILM STARTED TO COME OFF THE BACK. I'M LOOKING TO SEE IF THERE IS SOMETHING I CAN DO TO KEEP THAT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN.
@wtam69 THANK YOU FOR THE APPRECIATIONS. I USED TO BUILD FIRST ARTICLES. FIRST ARTICLES ARE THE NEXT THING BUILT AFTER THE PROTOTYPE. THE BUGS ARE WORKED OUT, AND THEN THE PERFECT, NO TOLERANCE, COSMETICALLY CORRECT, AESTHETICALLY PLEASING ITEM GOT BUILT BY ME. AND THE FACTORY USED IT AS A GUIDE FOR THE PRODUCTION FLOOR. THEN I HAD TO PLAY QUALITY CONTROL MAN, AND NEWBY TRAINING. I USED A PAIR OF 200 DOLLAR STRIPPERS FOR STRIPPING THE WIRES THOUGH. LOL. AND I HAD AC IN MY ROOM. LOL.

Nicely done, MUDDy. I've been wondering when you'd get around to this. Say, nobody would use the frame on a pitched roof, would they?
