a must have for musicians who want to see how its done, super drumming is killer, i know that bill bruford did a killer solo, but can't find it on here, if anyone has it, please upload that,
I own all solos Cobham played during the sessions. Especially Coke Oven Carnival and Strawinsky´s Firebird Suite are more than worth a look, Bill ruled the set, sometimes even with 4 sticks. The only one I have in poor quality is "America" from the West Side Story Medley.. :(
Tama superstar birch or maple sound as good today as they did back then! They have a rich, powerful tone. They are actually louder and more powerful than the thinner starclassics. Right now, original tama superstars are the hot ticket for drum restorations. Billy is the man!
man they looked so young on this video, first time seeing it for as long as this comp.was produced, good anyway but it would have been best to see the whole thing!!
Billy was so great in the 80's. That is when I really love his playing. He was such a great influence on a young, imprssionistic 14 year old. Thanks Bill.
