You got it wrong. Mutations are random changes in the genome, due to weaknesses in the construction of the DNA. Natural selection then work on those random mutation and select those who are the most beneficial.
The reason that there are no fossils of the plants the herbivore dinosaurs ate is because plants are 100% biodegradable. Where do you think oil comes from, as well as other mineral deposits found in the layers of earth. Also, here's the big one. Plant life didn't die out because they are not as complex as animal life. Plant life changed and "evolved" to adapt to the different weather changes. Plants die, decay and become nutrients in the soil for new plants...hence, no fossil record.

Well, there is such a thing as the degradation of dead plants over time. The reason there aren't any fossilized plants for that time period doesn't mean no plants existed there, but simply that no plants became fossilized.

Professor Richard Lenski conducted a twenty year experiment where a group of E Coli was observed in controlled conditions. Recently the E Coli developed the ability to absorb citrate. A trait not found in E Coli. The bacteria was given this trait through a random mutation, the bacteria with the trait were able to absorb more nutrients thus accelerating natural selection. It also ignores the fact that the fossils are sorted in the layers from primitive life forms to complex life forms. How could a flood do this? Plants are sorted from primitive to modern forms, there are no modern mammals in layers older than the Quaternary and Tertiary periods, no trilobites ever found above the Permian period. How does a turbulent flood explain this?
Animals migrate over large distances. Places where there are no plants will have higher death counts than places that have plentiful plants, where life is plentiful.
Dumb ass, there could be a number of reasons. Example 1: Plants were eaten up by dinosaurs thats why theres no plant fossils.
Example 2 These animals could be migrators like wilderbeasts. They could have been travelling through an area where they were attacked or died along the way.
Example 3 Changing climate could have an effect on plant biology. Remember that there has to be a set of specific conditions to make plant fossils in the first place. Plants could have just died without fossilising.

Typically this would not be a problem, if the institute were properly accredited, e.g. Pacific Lutheran U, Boston College, or even BYU. As for mutations: Note that all animals have a lot of inactive ("junk") DNA that gives plenty of chance to insert new features without removing current features. Also note that small changes to current features will at times be helpful and selected. That is the point of natural selection.
First, can you give a reference that confirms that this biologist does not believe that there were planets at the time that the dinosaurs lived? Be sure that you are not merely pulling quotes out of context. For example, if he says that no plant fossils were found, is that not because it is very difficult to fossilize plants?
Do you even understand what you are arguing against, sounds like you know nothing about NATURAL SELECTION. Read legit sources of information. Not Christian fundamentalist websites.

The reason that there are no fossils of the plants the herbivore dinosaurs ate is because plants are 100% biodegradable. Where do you think oil comes from, as well as other mineral deposits found in the layers of earth. Also, here's the big one. Plant life didn't die out because they are not as complex as animal life. Plant life changed and "evolved" to adapt to the different weather changes. Plants die, decay and become nutrients in the soil for new plants...hence, no fossil record.

Professor Richard Lenski conducted a twenty year experiment where a group of E Coli was observed in controlled conditions. Recently the E Coli developed the ability to absorb citrate. A trait not found in E Coli. The bacteria was given this trait through a random mutation, the bacteria with the trait were able to absorb more nutrients thus accelerating natural selection. It will always vary a little bit and the genome is able to reorganize it so that it remains viable. No other physical thing is ever able to organize the genome. During the human genome project, evolution was largely confirmed. This was due to a fusion found in the human genome.
You see, intelligent design had a golden chance to disprove evolution. Apes had 48 chromosomes, while we have 46. We couldn't lose a chromosome.
If we were related, there should be some sort of fusion. There was. In our 2nd chromosome, there was a precise fusion of apes genetics and ours.

Evolution is an insult and an embarrassment to science. It is not even close to being almost true. It is all false. There are no equations supporting it.
Natural selection can only select what is organized by the genome and nothing else is able to ever reorganize the genome other than the genome. Mutations reorganize nothing.

Mutations are a simple change in the genome, to make it better, to make it more efficient, or to simply patch a mistake in it. A mutation is nothing in itself, it is a simple "software update" (to dumb it down) if you will, of the genome. Natural selection here is the factor that oversees that mutation, puts it in balance with nature, with what the animal/plant needs, and sees if the change is good or bad.

The amount of Chromosomes difference between apes and humans as a golden chance to disprove evolution (you can't just lose a chromosome during evolution). This ignores the fact that some strata layers are very fine, not something that could be caused by a turbulent flood. It also ignores the fact that the fossils are sorted in the layers from primitive life forms to complex life forms. How could a flood do this? Plants are sorted from primitive to modern forms, there are no modern mammals in layers older than the Quaternary and Tertiary periods, no trilobites ever found above the Permian period. How does a turbulent flood explain this?

Dumb ass, there could be a number of reasons. Example 1: Plants were eaten up by dinosaurs thats why theres no plant fossils.
Example 2 These animals could be migrators like wilderbeasts. They could have been travelling through an area where they were attacked or died along the way.
Example 3 Changing climate could have an effect on plant biology. Remember that there has to be a set of specific conditions to make plant fossils in the first place. Plants could have just died without fossilising.

You neglect to mention that the Geoscience Research Institute is run by a religious organization, the Seventh-Day Adventist church. Typically this would not be a problem, if the institute were properly accredited, e.g. Pacific Lutheran U, Boston College, or even BYU. However, the GRI is no such accredited organization, and in fact presupposes that mainstream biology and geology are in conflict with the Bible, and hence are false. Such presuppositions render their conclusions irrelevant.

Fossils of not everything is preserved. Fossils of plants are not found doesn't mean there were no plant there in the past. If you dig underneath your backyard, I would doubt if you can find fossil of any plants that grew up thousands or millions of year before.

As for mutations: Note that all animals have a lot of inactive ("junk") DNA that gives plenty of chance to insert new features without removing current features. Also note that small changes to current features will at times be helpful and selected. That is the point of natural selection.
