Oh yeah, I was thinking it was weird, because people can't typically jump five feet in the air. (Some can, but they have to be pretty athletic.) But if you suggest that it was a CAT that caught it, then that makes perfect sense. xD Good save people! I would think the kitty would have killed it easily, just from how fragile it looks!
you saved it by jumping up and catching it? ummm. I dont think that's how you save things. Oh and it looks like it's shaking. Did anybody else notice that?
@255ex14 The woman is not saying, "I jumped in the air and got caught it.", but that something else did. She probably did rescue it from a house cat or something like that, which makes far more sense in context then what you are implying. It may be best however, if you would politely ask to verify your concern instead of getting the wrong end of the stick and propagating the resultant ignorance.
Couple years ago we were on the porch when a hummingbird flew RIGHT into the side of the house, and collapsed on the ground. We thought it was dead. We picked it up and held it then it came too, looked around for a few minutes, then flew off.
So if the question ever arises if a hummingbird can knock itself unconscious, the answer is yes, lol.
Maybe somebody can help me! I live in the mountains of Colorado and hummingbirds are very common. Well, a few days ago, i found a young humming bird but old enough to fly on my sidewalk. She is missing half her feathers on one wing and cant fly. At the moment she is hanging out in a shoebox witha saucer of nectar. I dont know what to do! heLP!

@inwarpaint Disagree. The description for the video should have this information at the very least.
