  • Put it on a bathroom scale so you can measure the thrust.

  • To test thrust all you would have to do is put the whole set-up on a scale and see what it reads.

  • hey i know this video is 2 yrs old almost. but you were saying it can only thrust in the upright position. so lets assume that, but what if you put an elbow (90 degree pipe out the bottom so it thrusted horizontaly? what do you think.

  • worlds longest fart. no seriously, are you gonna find something to put this on??

  • @bikr1975 I dont have it anymore unfortunately and if I did Im not aware as to how id be able to put it on anything. It would only work in this position, so any thrust would be going into the ground.

  • you sound like mc luvin off superbad ahaha! nice

  • 1:40 that's what happens as soon as your girlfriend gets out of the truck on your first date together...

  • how long do you think it would take to get water hot enough for a pot noodle?

  • its a bitch when the fuel decides to vapourise thats mainly the reason they stop or they explode......

  • awsome do a how to vid

  • omg idiot give it more gasssssssssssss

  • @headshotgoof once again someone who obviously knows what they are talking about tells me what to do.

  • omg its a fartanator

  • WOW!!! Thats a real screamer of a tin can jet. I got a tomato juice can that can let loose like that. I use a huge magnet to hold it down in the water jacketing container

  • Comment removed

  • I like the part when it goes FFFFPPPRPRRPRPPFPPFPFPPPPR

  • ok....hows this work. i feel like a retard

  • kaaa boooom !!!!

  • Sorry, I had chili with extra beans.

  • well not from the bottom, anywhere, and doesnt have to be 2 tubes, as long as you have an easy method to adjust the mixture, like a nitro engine carb.

  • its not really a jet, the pottering noise after the initial flame is due to excess fuel, with not enough oxygen to ignite it, until it gets sucked back in from the previous ignition and then reignites. this wouldnt create any force. The ideal way would be to have a couple of tubes at the bottom, one injecting vaporised fuel, the other just oxygen, get the ratios right and you have a jet engine

  • your jam comes in a tin?

  • Why are you farting in the mic?

  • All that managed to do is disturb my cat! She looked at the screen, looked at me, hissed and ran away! I guess cats don't like long farting sounds! lmao

  • Nice! Do you know if it puts out thrust or not? I'd assume it would, but I don't actually know.

  • @AsymptoteInverse i would assume so being that it is a controlled explosion and this same principal is used in pulse jets to propel rc vehicles, but i cant say ive ever put my hand over it to give it a test : )

  • @mxf7010g8k - stand it on some scales?

  • @mxf7010g8k if you place the pulse jet on a bathroom scale and then fire it up it should deflect the needle. This will give you a very crude idea of how much thrust in lbs or killo's you are achieving.

  • @AsymptoteInverse I dont know about that. THe reason why it pulses like that because it runs out of oxygen and the flame dies down, and in doing that it sucks a tiny bit of oxygen back into the can with the dying plasma flame, therefore reigniting the rest of the almost dying flame just about dead from lack of oxygen (but still alight). Lights the oxygen/fuel mixture once again and starts the whole process over. I imagine the sucking in of O2 would counter the pulse explosion.

  • wauw, you created an awesome farting machine!

  • veeeeeeeerrrrrryyyyyyyyy loooooooooooonnnngggggg work!!!!!!

  • it farths good :)

  • sounds like v1, nice job

  • @LivingAfterMetal You'll want to take cover when you hear the jet stop on one of those.

  • lol when this first started I thaught you just farted :L made me lol ! :D nice one

  • PIGLET!

  • I want ONE !!!!! LOL

  • it sounds like a bad fart, no offence

  • well done man, that was awesome, was the inside a tin can or glass jar?

  • @skizzarz i used a large soup can and heet fuel line antifreeze. hole in the can is 7/16 in. the coffee can and the soup can are connected with silicon caulk

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • audio is messed up on this video!

  • grrr mine just goes woosh, pulses a few times. and kaput

    it stops

  • @IHeartGoodMovies fuel to air mixture is everything, well that and cooling. it takes more air than you would think to get the right mixture.

  • @IHeartGoodMovies hole is too big

  • @IHeartGoodMovies Mine did that too. I got a new lid with a smaller hole and it worked like this one.....until the jar overheated and broke.

  • Make a step by step tutorial. :)

  • @MusicalAndTall lol. the description tells all thats needed. drill the 7/16" hole in the center of the small can. caulk the soup can to the coffee can. add water around the middle can. put the a small amount of heet in the small can. light it, if it doesnt go pump air in with a bike pump for like 5 good pumps then try again.

  • @mxf7010g8k Well I feel stupid :) lol. My apologies

  • @MusicalAndTalllol, thats fine
